Report Pattaya Officials Crack Down on Sidewalk Encroachments
This too will pass. Thanks the gods that I'm not trying to negotiate the streets in Chiang Mai in a wheelchair. Using the sidewalks for purposes other than as a thoroughfare is epidemic in LOS. They installed new sidewalk paving near the popular tourist spot Wiang Kum Kam a few years ago. Nice to look at but impossible to use even by a fully mobile person. And notice the power poles. Smack dab in the middle of the "walkway." Cops ticket people for riding a motorcycle without a helmet but many cops don't wear one either, and do zero traffic control besides. We have sidewalks that are blocked by signs, utility poles, vendors' carts, etc. All part of the reality of living in Thailand. Traffic laws are ignored by all. Remember the new seat belt law? This sidewalk measure will fail too. -

Yes, that is quite normal. As you're aware you have to present two copies of your application. One copy is sent off to the regional office for your area, who carry out additional checks. Those checks, I am told are to confirm that you and your wife are a genuine item. A lot of sham marriages abound here and the regional offices are better able to sniff out any that may be suspicious. Your local office cannot give the final nod until they have received approval from the regional office. -

I might be wrong but wasn't this the guy that was in a car with a known ms13 trafficker? I might be wrong. Was he legally in the US? I believe not. I mean I just don't quite understand a lot of this nonsense. What happens to someone who is in Thailand illegally? Answer is they get put in the absolutely horrid conditions of the immigration detention centre in Bangkok before being deported. What's the law in the US. Are you allowed to be there illegally? Under Biden and Harris it seemed so. Isn't Trump simply enforcing a law and wasn't this part of why he got voted in. Incredible how what seems to be a minority of the left has been completely sucked into a radical activist stance. Much of the left went for Trump because the left as has been said many times left them. You progressive woke lefties on here there's only thing you have now and that's to keep shouting Trump bad and continue to collectively feed and grow your derangement. What ever happened to accept defeat and live to fight another day. I guess that's a bit too rational and grown up for the triggered woke progressives tantrum throwing so-called adults on the radical left. Well you dug your own hole and got well and truly thrown into it at the election now you need to find a way out. Constant negativity and irrational hatred toward Trump didn't go well at the election but you're still going with it. Good luck with that but it has become very tedious on here IMHO. -

Yes, I was agreeing with you in a roundabout way. When I went to India a few years ago I (stupidly) got tricked in to using a site that looked exactly like the real government site. And looking online tons of other people also did. However I still got my visa, I just paid a little too much for it.
