If you're used to an  'easy border run' regarding 'out and in' the same day for a small 'fee' can you please let me know if things are all as usual?

Thank you kindly

As most border bounce agents pre-clear the passports of their customers with the border ahead of time, I would assume, and hope, that the agent would just do the TDAC as part of that process since it's free, easy and fast.  But hard to make assumptions when it comes to Thais as they don't tend to have motivation to go out of their way. It would expedite the process and prevent any issues from coming up though which would be beneficial to their operation.

The TDAC in itself shouldn't change anything with regards to border bounce services. It's merely an electronic service for submitting the TM6 arrival card.

Previously there was talk about introducing an ETA, which hasn't been implemented yet but could still be on the table as a phase #2 after the TDAC roll-out. That could be a game changer for border bounces.

Best to outline detail of planned  border bounce.

Meaning from where to which crossing.

Border run with Malaysia at the Wang Prachan crossing point near Hat Yai, sorry I forgot to add that part. Has anyone been there this month yet?

I haven't seen a report.

@Tod Daniels may have up to date reports.

Thinking it will be similar to previously. Perhaps a service charge.

'Fee' the rest went smoothly as usual

Thanks for update.

So the "fee" is for same day bounce?

Cost?

Yes, the 'Fee' is for same-day bounce and costs 2000 baht.

Update:

I was at the Wang Prachan border over the weekend, the only thing that changed was they asked to see my TDAC QR code when I paid my 'Fee' the rest went smoothly as usual.

Do you have contact details for this service? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No need for contact details for this process.

When you get to the building where you stamp out, you’ll see two windows on the side.

First, you need to go to the end window and let them know you want to come back the same day.

Just hand over your passport and 2,000 baht. They’ll stick a sticker in your passport and ask to see your TDAC details.

After that, you’ll need to go around the corner to stamp out. The immigration officer there will give you a ticket number that you’ll show to the Malaysian side so they know to stamp you in and out.

Then, head back to stamp in without any fuss (that’s how it’s been for me).

Hope this helps 👍

Thank you very much 😉

Quick update to re my latest border bounce to Ban Pakkad last week.

As usual went as smooth as silk and now you get a laminated ticket saying visa when you hand your passport back to the Imm officer (Thai side) No questions, just a wai to them and on your way. Also I didnt need to do the tdac either as it was all sorted by the visa run company.

Can't praise these guy's enough.

Do praise them for the benefit of others who are interested. Which service did you use?

It was in my first post about these guys but they are called friendly Thai visa run border services. They offer services from Bangkok and Pattaya direct from your place of residence. From Pattaya and surrounding area it is 3500 baht.

This is their line account

Ftv109

very quick to reply but just be aware they usually don't arrive spot on the pick up time mainly due to the fact that other people they collect are running late. If everyone was waiting 5 mins early then it would be seamless. They do however answer the phone at that ridiculous time in the morning and give you a call 10 mins before pickup.
