The UN delivered nearly 600 truckloads of aid into the Gaza Strip via the southern Kerem Shalom crossing, but distribution remains severely limited, said Jens Laerke, spokesman for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

The routes designated by the Israeli military were in part too dangerous and overcrowded, and travel permits were sometimes cancelled at short notice, Laerke said in Geneva on Friday. This is drip-feeding food into an area of catastrophic hunger," he said in sharp criticism of Israeli policy.

More lies from the UN, Sudan is the only place in the world with famine as confirmed by the UN themselves.

As for the aid in Gaza great to see so much going through in addition to the US led GHF, pity the UN has been so slow in picking it up

"The Defense Ministry's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) accuses the United Nations of failing to fulfill its role and collect humanitarian aid from the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom border crossing. According to COGAT, more than 400 truckloads of humanitarian aid, which were processed through Kerem Shalom, are awaiting collection and distribution."

Hey look, it's @UNReliefChief with another libelous lie. We've been patient with your media circus, but your lies just keep coming:

During a Security Council session, I exposed how the UN operates a system of extortion and threats against humanitarian organizations that cooperate with the U.S. aid mechanism in Gaza. This is mafia-like behavior and a flagrant violation of the UN’s core principles. The UN must put its ego aside and start cooperating with the new mechanism — not with Hamas.

And the Israeli answer:

Israeli sources debunk UN accusation of Israel stopping aid delivery to Gaza

Defense officials accused the United Nations on Friday of undermining efforts to supply food to Gazan civilians, adding to the existing tensions between the international body and Israel.

The UN had acted as if it lacked the capacity to move food to northern Gaza, thereby stalling hundreds of aid trucks at the Kerem Shalom crossing point, the officials claimed.

This is why the GHF food aid plan is needed:

Palestinians block and empty dozens of UN food lorries in Gaza Strip

Palestinians in Gaza have blocked and unloaded 77 food trucks, the UN World Food Programme said, as hunger mounts after Israel’s months-long blockade of the territory.

The WFP said the aid, mostly flour, was taken before the trucks could reach their destination.

A witness in the southern city of Khan Younis told the Associated Press the UN convoy was stopped at a makeshift roadblock and offloaded by desperate civilians in their thousands.

Don’t fall for misinformation, libelous accusations from Hamas so called health ministry that the IDF caused a mass causality event by firing tank shells and weapons at civilians near a GHF aid premises are completely false yet were carried immediately by the likes of the BBC and CNN etc. Hamas wants this to fail and is doing everything in its weakening power to do so including firing at and killing its own civilians.

At least 27 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded by Israeli fire near a food distribution site in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, local health authorities said.

It is the third consecutive day of similar incidents as Israel attempts to impose a new aid distribution regime on the Gaza Strip, which it has been blockading for weeks.

The Israeli military said its forces had opened fire on a group of individuals who had left designated access routes near the distribution centre in Rafah.

The UN human rights office said on Tuesday the impediment of access to food and relief for civilians in Gaza may constitute a war crime, describing attacks on civilians trying to access food as unconscionable.

“For a third day running, people were killed around an aid distribution site run by the ‘Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’. This morning, we have received information that dozens more people were killed and injured,” Reuters reports the spokesperson for the UN high commissioner for Human Rights, Jeremy Laurence, told the media in Geneva.

The same UN who claimed 14,000 babies could die within 48 hours in Gaza if aid was not allowed in?

"Hamas attacked queues of people waiting to receive aid from the American company in Gaza ... while on social media, Hamas threatens and incites against those who receive American aid."

An eye witness to tragedy in southern Gaza speaks out.

From the CEO of Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)

There's a way to aid Gaza. I know, my foundation just helped deliver 7 million meals... without incident
Hamas continues to spreads its lies as the Gaza aid system fails. Our Gaza Humanitarian Foundation offers an alternative approach

It’s time to be honest about humanitarian assistance in Gaza. The incumbent system is morally bankrupt. Grift is not a bug—it is a feature. The decades-long cycle of empty statements, inflated budgets, and institutionalized failure has created a self-sustaining machine that feeds off misery, undermines peace, and instinctively demonizes America and Israel.

The current system fuels fate.

Here’s an example. Just days ago, the world should have celebrated the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's week of success. Over 7 million meals were delivered free to Gazans -- no trucks seized, no aid diverted, no violence at distribution sites. The system worked despite Gaza's volatility. Gazans spontaneously thanked America and President Donald Trump.

At least dozens of Palestinians were killed near aid distribution sites in Gaza since the US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation started operating in the enclave late last month.

“We don’t know who’s exactly doing the shooting right now, it could be Hamas, it could be one of these Islamist militias we’ve recently found out Israel is backing with arms, or it could be the Israeli army”, FRANCE 24’s Noga Tarnopolsky said, adding that the situation is “some sort of impasse and anarchy, and people who need the aid are just not getting it”.

Israeli forces killed at least 36 Palestinians on Saturday, according to Gaza's civil defence agency, six of them after they opened fire near a US-backed aid distribution centre where thousands of Gazans have been gathering daily since May to receive humanitarian aid.

The shooting deaths were the latest reported near the aid centre run by the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) in the southern district of Rafah and came after it resumed distributions following a brief suspension in the wake of similar deaths earlier this week.

An aid boat with 12 activists on board, including Swedish climate campaigner Greta Thunberg, was meanwhile nearing Gaza in a bid to highlight the plight of Palestinians in the face of an Israeli blockade that has only been partially eased.

People in Gaza have been pushed to the absolute limits of survival, says James Elder, UNICEF spokesperson in Gaza. The new system of aid distribution installed by Israel is about forcing a population to move to the south, using food as bait, he says.
