Mark and fellow entertainer Mew were employed by Rin, a Thai man, to perform at a drug-fuelled party on a floating accommodation from February 26 to 28. Mew alleges that Rin coerced Mark into consuming ketamine and crystal meth, drugs he had never used before.

According to Mew, in the early hours of February 28, Rin notified him that Mark was missing. The pair then destroyed drug evidence before alerting accommodation staff and Si Sawat Police Station officers of Mark's disappearance. Subsequent drug tests revealed Rin and Mew both tested positive for drugs. Allegations surfaced that Rin bribed the police with 60,000 baht to avoid charges, while Mew elected to face the legal consequences without offering a bribe.

Despite Mark's body being found in the river, his family suspected a drug overdose due to needle marks and clenched fists, suggesting severe drug use. The family believed Rin might have disposed of Mark’s body to evade blame.

In a recent interview, Mew suggested Rin might have pushed Mark's body into the river, but acknowledged the possibility of Mark jumping in under the drug's influence. Despite repeated inquiries, the family received no responses from police regarding the autopsy results until public pressure elicited their release.

The autopsy findings, confirmed on May 14, showed no water in Mark's lungs, establishing that he died before entering the river. This revelation has intensified suspicions that Rin disposed of Mark's body.

Rin has yet to address the media, and the police have not summoned him for questioning. Simultaneously, the Royal Thai Police announced an investigation into the alleged 60,000 baht bribe allegedly paid to officers at Si Sawat Police Station. Those involved will face appropriate legal actions.

I'm far from a medical expert, but would clenched fists of a body found at the bottom of a body of water with prove ANYthing at all?
