Make plans based on visa exempt being 60 days.

If changes then a quick tourist e-Visa would have you covered.

I know it’s fun to get on the computer and be part of the forum and ask questions

For me, I would rather go to the horses mouth, which in this instance would be Thai Immigration, and see what the people say who make up these rules than to ask people who may or may not know the answer to your question

I was in the same spot as you just a couple weeks ago wondering when they would switch it back to 30. I would think if they did it, they would give a one month grace period before it takes effect

Noone on the forum would know if/when it reverts back to 30 days.

Point is neither would immigration offices.

Wrong. There will be a cabinet resolution, and immigration will learn of that at about the same time as anyone else who follows the Thai news. Immigration doesn't make this change, they merely apply it when they're told.
