Medical certificate

I need medical certificate  for retirement visa, going to try  to book appointment at my doctors tomorrow.

Anybody done this recently. How long did   it take  ?   ,   is it worth going private.                                                          Thanks

What do you mean "retirement visa" 

Where are you applying.

Only Non O-A requires a medical certificate.

You don't need a med cert for a retirement visa unless it's OA as DrJack had stated.

 

You might want to stop drinking before you go for any certificate. Just a thought.

I'm guessing you're from the UK ?

I'm also guessing you're applying for a visa to enter Thailand from a Thai Embassy ?

Which type of visa are you applying for ?

It appears he intends to apply for a 1 year extension of stay based on retirement, but will off course require a Non Immigrant type visa first.

It also appears his intention is to enter Visa exempt, apply for the Non Imm O at Phetchabun Immigration, then the 1 year extension.

The advice though was to obtain the Non Imm O prior to entry ............ but none of the above has any compulsory Health Insurance requirement.

Probably a red herring and just looking for some voluntary Health Insurance policy.

In England applying through London embassy ,have been working  on getting o-a  visa.

I take that is wrong and  I should be doing non imm O.

The Non imm O    how long does it take to do, I have flight booked July 9th.

Yes, it's the Non Imm O visa that you should apply for.

No requirement for Health Insurance or criminal record check.

Takes 4-7 days from reports provided all the supplied documents are in order.

 

Valid for 90 days to enter Thailand.
On entry, you'll receive permission of stay for 90 days.

After 60 days, you can apply for the 1 year extension based on retirement.

Retirement (pensioner aged 50 or above with state pension who wishes to stay in Thailand for no longer than 90 days)

Document indicating current location
- Applicant’s local utility bills (shows your name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.

Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 65,000 THB (£1,500) or having the current balance of 800,000 THB (£18,000), e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings
- Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted). For monthly income of last 3 months no less than £1,500/ month.
