You have a white American from a prestigious white American family urging all (including white Americans) to refuse vaccination for their kids for years along with a range of bizarre behaviours, beliefs and actions. Then, ridiculously he is appointed as Health Secretary. He tries to suppress his weird beliefs during the hearings and for the first few months but the urge to be strange is too strong. • Cultural divides – anti-science, anti-intellectual attitudes in parts of the U.S. drag education outcomes down
