If you are referring to the document given

when you did the annual registration,

no one will ever ask for that.

papa usually just bins it.

If you bought other insurance from an independent agent,

contact him.

The only reason I ask is that it's in case I get stopped by the police.

Around these parts, they do pull bikes and scooters. And even chase them if they try to get away.

 

Supposing I do get stopped and I produce the green book, tax disc, and Thai driving license, is that enough these days?

You need a helmet.

Nothing is 100% sure.

as long as you have a tax disc you automatically have the insurance, police know that

I would guess that you will need it in case of an accident. Otherwise how can you know who to contact for third party damages?

The insurance does not cover third party damages.

It covers medical fees up to B50K.

So your guess is wrong.

Ok, anyway you will need a copy of the insurance certificate in case of such an accident.
