We will have our house finished in August and looking at fitting solar panels
Last time we looked we thought we would need many more panels but now new panels are 700w

We also hoped we could run the meter backwards in the day but now have a nasty digital meter
I remember Crosy ? saying to look at the units you use between 9am-4.30pm to see how many units you use and how many panels would be needed

Probably best to live in the house for 2-3 months to get a good idea
Would like to get the panels up straight away really while the car port is being built (12x 6 m)

We have a 1,5hp pool pump which i am told you should run 4 hours morning and afternoon
Would it be a good idea to install a system that would give say 60 units a day so would need panels and  battery as that is near to what we would use

Also told the installation cost can double the price of the DIY install
Is it a good idea going through Homepro/Global?
Many thanks for your time

Last time I checked they were still quoting about ฿10 per Watt and I have never seen them stock bigger panels. You will have to go online for more competitive prices.

I recently paid for Trina 705 Watt panels ฿2,780 each or ฿3.9 per watt

Looking at the XL homepro package with a 10kw battery i am looking at around 800k?

Must be cheaper options

I would never consider a solar install quote that doesn't breakdown the costs per line. It's important to know the costs of the main components and then you can see the markup.

I put some prices in this discussion:

https://aseannow.com/topic/1319773-solar-power-is-cheap-and-it’s-going-to-get-even-cheaper-very-soon/

Supply and fit is always going to cost you more.

Maybe share where you are located and people can recommend a local installer. I can recommend my installer in Surin/Buriram although he is very busy these days  - not helped by the fact that I keep recommending him.

Without air-con my 3 bed house uses 8 units a day and a 5kwhr battery is just about enough.

15Kwhr batteries cost around 50,000bht.

Installers usually want 100kbht plus a markup on all the parts.

Don't think you can beat these , 1,745bht inc delivery

Home Pro is selling Huawei Equipment, what makes it very expensive beside that their prices are far over the top. Just have a look on some other old threads to get more informations. My new neighbor just has got a Quote for a 10kwp System with 10 kwh Battery for 340K fully installed, Deye Hybrid Inverter,Longi Panels and LVTopsun Battery.
