BANGKOK –  General Prawit Wongsuwan, leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, addressed online coup rumours, stating that "there should be no more" coups.

He reassured that today's military "can think for themselves", highlighting that the real issues lie within politics, not the state's condition. People, he noted, are suffering due to political turmoil.

He openly advised Prime Minister Paetongtarn to "consider resignation", given widespread public disapproval of the current government.

Emphasising adherence to the constitution, Prawit underscored the importance of respecting the people's voice.

Concluding, he expressed willingness to dissolve parliament, advocating for the opportunity to elect a new leader capable of guiding Thailand towards stability.
