Koh Chang Lagoon Resort

Featured Replies

I will go together with 3 older persons to Koh Chang but want to stay where there is some action so I decided to find bungalow/room in White Sand Beach. Anybody that can help me decide where to book room by telling what your reflection about Lagoon Resort. I tried to book Kacha resort and Spa but it's fully booked at ther period I am at Koh Chang. :o

Not sure if we talk about the same place, but in my memory, the Lagoona is on the South tip of the island and totally isolated. About 20 min drive by car from White Sand Beach.

We have been there last November (2006) and again just now end of July.

Both times we had the whole beach (about 2 km) all for ourselves, clean water, clean beach ... fantastic.

The first time we rented a bungalow in one of these old wooden barges. It's something different and I liked it, although the bedroom was a bit cramped. The price of this bungalow, however, was way too expensive (8'000 THB per night).

The second time we just spent just the day there. Beach is still great and the restaurant is good too.

This hotel and Bungalow are located on White Sand Beach and this is what they say by themself on the net:

Koh Chang Lagoon : 7/5 Moo 4 Had Sai Khao, Koh Chang, Khing Umper Koh Chang Trat 23120

KOH CHANG LAGOON RESORT is located on the north-west of the island , approximately 15 minutes from any of the 3 ferry piers. Situated right at the center of Had Sai Khao, the resort has a beachfront on one side and the main road on another. Within walking distance are various establishments offering food, shopping, bars and pubs
