A hotel security guard was left bleeding from a head injury after being struck with a mobile phone while attempting to break up a heated argument between a Thai woman and a foreign man in central Pattaya in the early hours of the morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 01:00 on 21 July, prompting a response from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Centre and officers from Pattaya City Police Station.

Rescue personnel arrived at a hotel, where they found 37-year-old Wisuwat, a hotel security officer, with a bleeding head wound. He was immediately given first aid and rushed to hospital for further treatment.

According to Wisuwat, a Thai woman, believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, had accompanied a foreign tourist back from Pattaya Beach. A dispute reportedly broke out between the pair over payment, leading to a loud argument on the third floor of the hotel.

Wisuwat said he went upstairs to mediate and asked the pair to move their conversation downstairs to avoid disturbing other guests. However, the Thai woman became aggressive and allegedly grabbed a mobile phone and struck him on the head before fleeing the scene.

Pattaya police have since launched an investigation and issued a lookout alert based on the suspect’s description. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and have interviewed the unnamed foreign man, in an effort to locate the woman and pursue legal action.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect had already left the premises before officers arrived. The case remains under active investigation.

Maybe her breasts were not big enough?

Another very clever and intelligent post from MalcolmB.

Did you read it was a dispute over the payment and price?

After Covid, Thais in Pattaya have gone psycho. their hearts are filled with hatred. Their Buddhism is failing. And this process is still in the growth phase

The rest are probably fed up with the bs from tourists

After all their own the bs and prejudices are much better. After all, it is their own, native, sweet & warm, understandable...

Everything is logic. Small breasts, big vagina, didn't moan = disappointed client, no desire to pay.

The article from the Thai language source says exactly that.

Edit: deleted hotel name. Not 100% sure.

So, in your mind, if you buy a cheese you don´t like you go for refund, right?

More palatable to them than the foreign variety.

I'm no Thai apologist at any rate.  All of the stories about wife beating, road rage and even a package delivery driver being strangled to death for a few baht are opening my eyes about what is behind many of those smiles.  Whatever is done to tourists is nothing compared to what they do to each other.

Not at all. Where did you get that from? Did your imaginary friend talk to you again?

It does appear hotels aren't getting ID's for lady "visitors" like used to be required. Couple of assaults in last week or so. Maybe it is time to bring back mandatory ID recording...

Are you really this bitter or are you just back to provoke?  This is how street hookers behave. They are not normal, stable people. They are usually mentally ill or drug dependent. Normal well adjusted people do not catch tricks like this.
