I don't particularly care, to be honest. The question is, for me, is it an enjoyable car to drive? Sitting in the Porsche SUV, there's no doubt it's a fine car, though of course it was a joint project with VW and Audi. I bought the Touareg, and even though it was essentially the same car as the Porsche SUV and a fine SUV, I still wish I'd got the Porsche instead.

 

Of course having said that, an ultra fun car like that Vanderhall, why not.

Generally speaking - Porsche are more expensive than Benz & BMW, so I would guess that adds to the status.

But - from a rarity perspective - there are some beemers and Benz that are rare here - like the Z4 M40i - blisteringly fast and not very common.

But cars, to me, are about fun, not status.
