A man in his 40s tragically died after falling from a height during an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night. The Metropolitan Police received reports of the incident at 22:19 BST, with officers and medics swiftly responding to the scene. Despite immediate medical attention, the man was pronounced dead, having sustained injuries "consistent with a fall."

Oasis expressed their deep sorrow in a statement, describing themselves as "shocked and saddened," and extending condolences to the victim's family and friends. The unfortunate fall reportedly occurred from an upper tier, suggesting the bustling stadium, filled with fans, experienced a deeply distressing moment.

Authorities are urging anyone who has information or mobile footage of the event to contact them by calling 101. The investigation is expected to be transferred shortly to the Health and Safety Executive. This incident marred what was part of Oasis's highly anticipated Live '25 reunion tour, marking Noel and Liam Gallagher's return after nearly 16 years apart.

The concert, scheduled from 20:15 to 22:15, was one of seven sold-out events at the iconic venue, which boasts a capacity of 90,000 spread over three tiers. Wembley Stadium ensured that emergency services, including medics, police, and the London Ambulance Service, attended to the injured individual, but sadly, their efforts were in vain.

The rest of the tour continues undeterred, with the next shows set for Edinburgh on 8, 9, and 12 August. Oasis will then perform across Ireland, Canada, the US, and Mexico before returning to Wembley on 27 and 28 September. Despite the tragedy, Sunday's concert went ahead as planned, with thousands still eager to witness the historic reunion, reported BBC.

As the music world mourns, Oasis fans are left in shock, reflecting on a night meant to celebrate reunion and music but shadowed by heartache. Wembley Stadium sends its support to the bereaved family, who are receiving aid from specially trained police officers during this difficult time.

The upcoming international performances are set to proceed, indicating the band's commitment to their fans worldwide, even as they navigate this sorrowful chapter. This incident, however, casts a lingering shadow over what was envisioned as a triumphant return for the legendary British band.
