Imagine if the US had paid their UN bills, perhaps none of the technical failures would have happened and he could have shortened his rambling speech by half and hour.

That must have been very rich, for these world leaders to be sitting around watching the most morally bankrupt man in America lecture them about how they should run their countries.

Trump is still p!ssed that he didn’t get a $500 million contract back in the 80’s or 90’s to revamp the UN building. That man holds a grudge like nobody’s business. Once you have slighted him even in the least, either real (not so much) or perceived (more often than not), you’re on his sh!tlist forever. Trump has the mental maturity of a toddler.

Trump's own taste for marble and gold plate is itself pretty tacky. If he really wants to get even with the UN just take away their driving privileges unless they go through local registration and testing like Americans do.

The teleprompter wasn’t a UN failure — it was owned and operated by Trump’s WH team.
 

Trump lied when he said the escalator broke down “right in the middle”. He even claimed Melania might have fallen.

In reality, it halted at the landing — Trump’s vanity on full display — with his cameraman tripping the escalator’s emergency stop system.

They could have simply swapped escalators and even lifts for the cankle-impaired were available.
 

Both glitches were self-inflicted, yet he still blamed the UN.

If he had done the UN reno, he would have f---ed that up too.
 

Nevertheless, Trump’s routine was the same as always: show up, insult the host, and sneer at the institution.

The UN Secretary-General should’ve just told him to FO and let the door hit him on the way out.
