I haven't given an opinion about whether he should be jailed or not , I was just pointing out that he wont certainly be jailed , like you claimed he would .

It was you who made an incorrect claim, it wasn't me

Again, Had the IDF wanted to commit a 'genocide' he would have killed 650,000 Palestinians and not the 65K that got killed, half of them are Hamas terrorists, and it wouldn't take it 2 years to do it. The Palestinians prepared and planned for war for years, and they got it, lucky to get away with so few deaths' as in wars you have no way of knowing what are the numbers will be,

The world callas it genocide, atrocities, forced hunger etc.etc. you want to start a war, don't expect for fairness and soft hands.

You have to be Israeli to spout this nonsense.

If so, you know very well that the Israeli far right govt want nothing more than to kill all those poor souls in Gaza but they would lose allies if they made it so obvious, 100 a day the can get away with.

They do have that already .

All Israeli citizens have equal rights

You seem to be getting Non Israelis mixed up with Israelis

Israeli citizens most certainly do not all have equal rights. You’ve never spent much time in Israel if you believe this.

Netanyahu corruption trial: What you need to know

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/netanyahu-corruption-trial-divides-israeli-public-2024-12-09/

WILL A VERDICT COME SOON?
Unlikely. Unless Netanyahu seeks a plea deal, it could be many more months before the judges rule.

HOW CAN HE BE ON TRIAL AND REMAIN PRIME MINISTER?
Under Israeli law, a prime minister is under no obligation to stand down unless convicted. If he or she appeals their conviction, they can keep their office throughout the appeals process.

COULD HE GO TO JAIL?
Bribery charges carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years and/or a fine. Fraud and breach of trust are punishable by up to three years in jail.

WHAT HAS THE IMPACT BEEN?
The shock attack by Hamas on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and the ensuing Gaza war, swept Netanyahu's trial off the agenda, as Israelis came together in grief and trauma. Before the war, Netanyahu's legal troubles bitterly divided Israelis and shook Israeli politics through five rounds of elections.

  Its the truth .

Being abusive doesn't make you right .

You wrongly claimed that Bibi will be jailed if the war ends

You made a false claim .

He might be jailed or he might not be jailed .

It was wrong of you to claim that he WILL be jailed

You're flogging a dead horse mate, someone is well versed in Netanyahu's problems and knows full well if it wasn't for all this pain for ordinary Palestinians the coalition with the other muppets in the Israeli government would be out in a heartbeat.

Will Hamas's replacement be willing to accept  a 2 state solution ?

   You misunderstand the discussion .

Bibi could well be voted out of power .

I never disagreed with that

My point was that I disagreed with his claim that Bibi would be in jail if it wasn't for the war .

Also , I haven't been following the internal Israeli politics and haven't been following any corruption charges

According to the declaration the replacement of Hamas will be a reformed PA.

It remains to be seen whether the P.A will adhere to  2 state solution .

The previous idea was to give them Gaza in 2006, let them Govern themselves for  few years and progress to  a 2 state solution .

Look how that turned out .

It seems you are grasping at straws. Why the hell would a PA put there to implement a two-States solution be against a two-States solution? It doesn't make sense!

Whether they really honestly want  a 2SS and will happily live side by side with Israel or whether they will re arm and attack Israel again  .

What if Hamas 2 win the next election ?

Like they did lst time ?

Armed militia and gangs supported by Israel are seizing control of parts of Gaza, exacerbating its humanitarian crisis and potentially threatening any efforts to bring order if Donald Trump’s plan for Gaza takes hold.

The Israeli military and security services have for several months been arming and training groups in Gaza as local auxiliary forces and as an alternative to Hamas, but the strategy appears to have gathered momentum in recent weeks.

An official with a major aid agency operating in Gaza said they had not “heard from the de facto authority” – a euphemism for Hamas – since March and were now dealing with a “variety of different actors”.

“In the north there is nobody in charge, in the central area there are some really powerful families and some small informal militia … and in the south you have formalised Israeli clients who get weapons and so on from the Israeli military,” they said. “Law and order is deteriorating, the social fabric is falling apart and people are really desperate and in survival mode and it is becoming everyone for themselves.”

Netanyahu’s fourth term took place in the shadow of four ongoing investigations into bribery and other forms of corruption allegedly committed by Netanyahu and members of his inner circle. In February 2018 Israeli police announced that they had found sufficient evidence to recommend charges of bribery and fraud in two of the cases
