After another turn from trump after a conversation with Putin, it's obvious he is valuing Putin's opinion more than that of zelensky and the Europeans.

I think there's a lot more to it than just "valuing Putin's opinion more than that of Zelinsky and the Europeans" ......and a few quotes from various sources help to back that up: –

"Donald Trump was a generous host, but the goodwill didn’t last. Vladimir Putin is back in his ear, and Europe has been left scrambling. At the weekend, the US President raged at Zelinsky, demanding he end the war by accepting Putin’s unacceptable demands". On this point one can only assume that Trump becomes "angry" with Zelensky because without Ukraine accepting what Trump wants, whatever Trump stands to gain from pushing the deal, will not materialise, or indeed he may be embarrassed by whatever Putin has in his possession.

Handing over the Donetsk region is a red line the Ukrainian President simply won’t cross, and he is now being portrayed as the obstacle to peace. European leaders strained every diplomatic sinew to repair the damage from the infamous Oval Office clash between Zelenskyy, Trump and JD Vance in February and

there was cautious optimism that they had begun to bring the US President around to their way of thinking. Trump and Zelensky’s talks at the Pope's funeral felt like a game-changer.

More recently, the mercurial American called Russia’s Army a “paper tiger” and threatened Putin with tariffs. But last week, after a phone call with the Russian President, cracks began to appear and another TACO moment ensued, which would strongly suggest that Putin is still playing Trump and that he has a hold over him in one way or another, and was reminded of it on the phone call. As for Trump, he seemed to have executed another U-turn. He told reporters on Air Force One yesterday that the Donbas should be left divided, as it is now.

Trump is a pathetic puppet and Putin pulls the strings. PATHETIC and gutless as well as being dumb, and the sight of Trump applauding Putin as he walked along the red carpet on his visit to the US is enough to make normal folk feel like puking.

  • Thanks for the reply Nova. Yes it's 'in my head' as a position taken from observing Trump's own comments since he took office. His actions clearly do not match his words and in the build up to this la

Deriving assumptions based on imaginary notions leads to delusional dispositions and is foolish. Try using concrete evidence without conflated nuances, you’ll find that your confidence level will increase.

Your meaningless word salads are always good for a laugh. Please keep up this mediocre work!
