Because of Starmer Lame immigration policy, Farage will be next PM

Labour’s vaunted promise to “stop the boats” has collapsed into chaos — and Nigel Farage is the man reaping the political reward.

Defence Secretary John Healey’s stunning admission that Britain has “lost control of her borders” was hailed as rare honesty from a Labour minister. But the candour was short-lived. He swiftly blamed the crisis on the last government, insisting Labour had inherited an asylum mess — an excuse wearing thinner by the day.

The facts speak for themselves. More than 37,000 migrants have crossed the Channel this year, with the figure now on track to smash the 2022 record of 45,755. The “one in, one out” deportation deal with France — trumpeted by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in July — is in tatters. It took three months to deport the first migrant, who promptly came back days later after claiming to be a victim of slavery.

Healey campaigned on scrapping the Conservatives’ Rwanda scheme — derided by Starmer as a “gimmick” — leaving the government without any deterrent. The result: a border policy so porous it’s practically an invitation.

Even Starmer’s allies now fear the border crisis could be the final nail in Labour’s coffin. The sense of drift, weakness and denial mirrors the doomed late days of the Blair–Brown years.

Enter Nigel Farage — the only politician who can credibly claim he saw this coming. Reform UK is surging in the polls, fuelled by fury at unchecked migration and government impotence. Farage warned a decade ago that mass arrivals would strain housing, jobs and public services — a prophecy playing out in real time.

Now, polls suggest Farage could be Britain’s next Prime Minister, as voters desert Labour in disgust and the Conservatives remain in ruins.

“Britain’s borders are as leaky as a sieve,” Healey admitted. The electorate seems ready to fix the leak — by handing Nigel Farage the wrench.

Key Takeaways

  • Labour admits Britain has “lost control” of its borders amid record Channel crossings.

  • Starmer’s “one in, one out” migrant deal collapses after deported man returns days later.

  • Nigel Farage surges in polls, tipped to become Britain’s next Prime Minister.
