The Royal Thai Army received 100 locally made drones on 24 November 2025, donated by the Yam Fao Phandin Foundation to enhance border security along the Thai-Cambodian frontier. The drones and support systems, valued at 19 million baht, were officially handed over to Lieutenant General Veerayut Raksilp, Commander of the 2nd Army Region, with former Commander Lieutenant General Boonsin Padklang witnessing the ceremony.

The donation aims to support ongoing military operations in border areas and boost the army’s capability to protect sovereignty. The drones are part of an evolving programme that also includes anti-drone technology, which is continuously updated due to rapid changes in drone and frequency warfare technology. Details of the drones’ specifications and development team remain classified for national security reasons.

Panthap Puapongphan, chairman of the foundation, stressed that the project is needed to keep pace with weekly technological advancements in drone warfare. He confirmed that the 100 drones, developed entirely by Thai engineers, will enhance operational efficiency and help safeguard both soldiers and civilians. Panthap also presented three publications, including translated historical documents and research on the 2000–2001 MOU on border agreements, to the current and former 2nd Army Region commanders.

Lieutenant General Boonsin expressed gratitude to the foundation for its ongoing support, noting that the donation strengthens both technical and operational capacities. Commander Veerayut thanked the public and pledged that the 2nd Army Region will use the equipment responsibly to protect the nation and its citizens.

Amarin reported that the army emphasised that the drones will be deployed to increase surveillance and defensive readiness along the Thai-Cambodian border. Continuous development and integration with anti-drone systems are expected to maintain Thailand’s strategic advantage in border security operations.

Ohh I don't know if toni was involved or not. The foundation is not legitimate. Not registered.. And only operates in a Facebook page. They do not even have their own webpage.

For all we know, the 19 million to get the drones and supporting equipment could have been given by anyone seeking favor in the PD, Army, or Imm.
