The arrest took place at Manchester Airport on suspicion of terror offences related to the synagogue attack that occurred earlier this year. This incident at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on 2 October resulted in the deaths of Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz, following an attack by Jihad Al-Shamie, who was subsequently shot dead by the police. The attack also resulted in serious injuries to three other men.

The recent arrest marks the seventh individual taken into custody in connection with this harrowing event. Out of these arrests, five individuals have been released without charge, while a 30-year-old man, also detained on 9 October for allegedly failing to disclose relevant information under the Terrorism Act, remains on bail. The investigation has revealed that during the attack, Al-Shamie drove into a security guard outside the synagogue as people gathered for Yom Kippur, then proceeded to stab Mr Cravitz.

During the attack, congregants, including Mr Daulby, managed to secure the synagogue doors against Al-Shamie's attempts to enter. However, a stray bullet from an armed officer trying to neutralise Al-Shamie tragically killed Mr. Daulby inside the synagogue. Assistant Chief Constable Rob Potts emphasised that the victims' families have been informed of the latest arrest, and he urged anyone with pertinent information to step forward.

Rabbi Daniel Walker, among those who secured the synagogue doors, reflected on the losses, mentioning how the absence of Mr Daulby and Mr Cravitz is a stark reminder of the tragedy. Describing the victims, Rabbi Walker expressed their importance to the community, highlighting their kindness and familial dedication, reported BBC.

Who could have imagined that taking huge numbers of largely unchecked people from different cultures, different religions (some extremely intolerant), different countries that have been at war with each other for centuries, from all corners of the globe and putting them on a tiny island together with a pathetic police force and a 2 tier justice system could result in violence?

Thank goodness for Diversity. Thank goodness for cultural enrichment. Just imagine, we could have been missing out on all this.

Thanks lefties.
