Police in Nakhon Ratchasima have urged locals to report any odd or suspicious behaviour after reports suggested foreign mercenaries—possibly Russians hired by Cambodians— might be in the province.

Authorities are on high alert following a social media appeal on Sunday, asking residents to remain vigilant.

This warning stems from intelligence indicating that foreign nationals, possibly linked to external hires, could be posing a threat. Phonkrang Police Station in Mueang district highlighted the importance of local cooperation, particularly in potentially vulnerable areas, as part of a broader law enforcement effort, reported The Nation.

In parallel, the Royal Thai Air Force issued its own caution regarding drone activities. They asked the public to be particularly watchful for unusual drone activity, urging the use of hotlines 1374 or 191 for immediate reporting of suspicious ones. This initiative seeks to mitigate any potential risks from unknown drone operators.

Key Takeaways

  • Nakhon Ratchasima police warn of possible foreign mercenaries in the area.
  • The Royal Thai Air Force alerts residents to report unusual drone activity.
  • Public cooperation is requested to maintain safety and report suspicions.

Considering the theory that Russia is helping Cambodia, and that China is supplying Cambodia with weapons, should not Thailand deport all Chinese and Russian nationals in Thailand?

Then there are the millions of Cambodian workers in Thailand, they should also be deported, right?

And let us not forget about the millions of ethnic Khmer and people of Cambodian ancestry who live in Thailand, should not they be relocated in controlled camps away from the border (as the Americans did in WWII with Japanese-Americans)?

Come on Prime Minister Anutin, save Thailand from its blood-thirsty aggressive neighbors!!!  Keep Thailand pure and safe!!

(Disregard the above statements - all in jest).
