Multiple Entry Non Immigrant 'o' Marriage Visa

Featured Replies

I have a multiple entry non immigrant 'o' marriage visa which I got from Hull in UK. When it expires can I just go to Penang and get another one?

Also, I've had no money going into my Thai bank account for well over a year (I've just been using ATMs to get funds from my UK bank account). Do I need to put 400,000 baht in my Thai bank acc to get this type of visa from Penang, or is that just for the 1 year extension option.

And if I do have to show 400,000 does it have to be shown to have come from the UK or can I put it in from within Thailand and say that I brought it over with me the last time I came.

The two Consulates in the area that may issue a multi entry are Singapore and Penang. For Singapore they have required 400k in a bank account anywhere. For Penang last (only) report is they require 200k but where was not mentioned). Source of funds is a concern for the old 400k extension of stay method (this is no longer an option for new extensions of stay).

Thanks for that info lopburi.
