A nonsense post.  The 'Tweets' were sent years ago when the laws were different and were mostly regarding Egypt.

Hypocritical muck-raking by Reform (unsurprising, as they're not the brightest) and even worse by the desperate Tories.

A totally ludicrous post.

Some of the quotes, from ...Alaa Abd el-Fattah's

"By the way I’m a racist, I don’t like white people so piss off."(Posted around 2012, directed at white/British people.), from the Guardian of all places.

Described British people as "dogs and monkeys" (exact quote not reproduced in sources, but summarized as such).

Lucy Connolly's social media post was very mild compared to some of those, look what happened to her!!dry

Well, not immune from allowing a bit of bigotry to colour your views then!

Musk isn't a UK citizen so no question that the same terms apply.

An Irish citizen was arrested by five armed police at Heathrow as he transited the UK while travelling from the USA to Ireland. So not just UK citizens.

He wrote that in Egypt, where it is legal to write that. He should never have been given citizenship.

There are many people who will write racist, homophobic things around the world that are legal in their country.

You can't arrest people for things that they do in their own country that are legal.

Lucy Connelly was not arrested for violations of free speech, but incitement to violence. Go see what she wrote about burning hotels down. If any of you racists Brits in Thailand write this over in Pattaya, you will similiary get arrested.

Sounds just like the sort of person that successive Governments want as British Citizens. And the Government just attack Reform and white people who make racist comments.

You clearly dont understand the English.

It will be clearer for you in 2029.

Starmer said it was his top priority.

But yeah the Tories were traitors too. That's why they will both be rejected for Reform.

Strap in. Don't slip on those liberal tears. What happened to America in 2024 is coming to the UK in 2029 or sooner. Leftism is dying. You old lib boomers are out of date.

What's the issue with all you racist Reformy lot .... i thought you lot wanted free speech ?

This guy exercised free speech. Shouldn't you be happy?

The hypocrisy of the "Reformers" is laughable.

Bit of a murky line to prosecute him for tweets he wrote in another country.

Refer to the Graham Linehan case. Arrested upon landing at Heathrow at gunpoint for trans jokes made while in America.

This guy hates white people and Jews. He hates you almost as much as you hate yourself. Hard to believe I know...

He was not "arrested at gunpoint". He was arrested, yes. Police at airports are armed as a matter of course, they did not draw weapons on him.

And he was not arrested for "trans jokes", he was arrested on suspicion of inciting violence.

It was over the top, and even though he is an odious little man he deserved to have the charges dropped, as they were. And the Met have subsequently changed their guidance on what kind of complaints they will act on. But your ridiculous over egging of it just makes you look silly and hysterical. Isn't the hypocrisy of the party is power of more concern than the party that has a handful of MPs.

He's not British-Egyptian, he's Egyptian-British, regretfully.

It is until they pass their anti blasphemy laws.

Those laws will only apply to Islam obviously.

Nope, just pulling you up for saying things that were not true, that's all.

I said it was over the top and it was right they dropped the charges. How is that being "an apologist for tyranny" exactly?

"Arrested at gun point for trans jokes", "apologist for tyranny". You do love your ridiculous hyberbole and pearl clutching.

Gaslighting.

Don't worry those same laws can be used against you in 2029.

Looking forward to it.

The tide is turning big time and you know it. So ham it up while you can.

A reform election win??? The same reform lot who championed Brexit that did not end giving us sunny rainbows, but rather wrecked the economy, and has left the UK as an insignificant country on the world stage. Further drift from the closest trading partner when the debt in the UK is near 100%.

Good luck with the collapse of the pound even more. Racists deserve all the bad will.

Racists are too thick to know about Islam. They discriminate anyone who isn't white - Sikhs, Muslims, Hindus suffer.

The classic racist line 'is islam a race' comeback.

Career money making racists living it up Dubai, under Sharia Law, no freedom of speech, no democracy, lecturing thick Brits about how foreigners are the problem. ROFLMAO

You are aware a reform election win will most likely see your currency devalue even more?

As someone who looks at economies, with the state of the UK economy the country is in debt to the markets. It needs to badly reduce the debt, which would mean shrinking the budget - but this is going to take 10-20 years.

The markets want the UK to be prosperous and that means a closer relationship with the EU and to get trade flowing again. That confidence would see the Pound sterling rise again.

Reform by its own chore will not align back with the EU even for trade. This will send markets into a lack of confidence and send the pound to fall even more.

Surely logic will dictate to you that you want a prosperous country and to have more to your buck when you come to Thailand ?

Weird.

There is a vaneer of threat to your line.

What you think is going to happen when reform gets into power ?

The UK voting system means there is no chance reform are going to get any majority to lead the country. They are only leading 5 points in poll, and that will narrow close to an election. They may well get a lot of seats around 100, but that’s not going to be enough to lead a country.
