January 8Jan 8 Maybe it’s coincidence but it seems at the moment a lot of Thai people try to sell their land. My wife is visiting hometown (Ubon area) and several mostly old people from the neighbourhood approached her , offering to sell land. Interesting plots ( small, urban, business options, for generations in the family, chanote etc.) - and what they asked for is not overpriced as far I can judge. Stories told imply economic pressure. I mean this happened before over the years but not frequent and usually asking outrageous prices.Well, at the moment we are not interested because we are rather occupied with developing the parcels we have.Just wondering if this is a sign of downturn and land prices cheapening.Did you observe a similar development in your area?
