A man in his twenties died early this morning after falling from a height near BTS Phahon Yothin 24 station in Bangkok. The incident occurred around 12:30 am on the outbound side of Phahon Yothin Road in the Chatuchak district. Despite rescue workers' efforts, including 40 minutes of CPR, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Lieutenant Nipon Sakulphet-aram from Phahonyothin Police Station responded to the emergency call. The victim, wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt and white shorts, had no identification documents on him. CCTV footage revealed that the man boarded a train at Samrong Station and arrived at Phahon Yothin 24 station around 10 pm, but he didn’t exit the station before the fall.

Police are investigating the cause of the fall, which occurred from an estimated height of 15 to 20 metres. The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Police General Hospital for further examination, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased and notify his family. The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the fall.

In an unrelated incident, a man in the Din Daeng area climbed a pylon along the Vibhavadi Expressway and later fell. The man stood on top of the expressway pylon, and despite police negotiations, he jumped onto the road below. Immediate aid was administered, and he was taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Police are working on both cases to gather more information and ensure safety measures are in place to prevent future incidents. Investigations continue to uncover further details surrounding these events, reported The Thaiger.
