A dog in Phanom Sarakham district, Chachoengsao, got her head stuck in a car wheel while trying to retrieve a meatball. The incident prompted a call to local rescue teams on January 22. Rescuers arrived to free the distressed animal using hydraulic equipment.

The female dog became trapped after attempting to reach a meatball in the center of a spare alloy wheel, left in her owner's yard. The owner, Aratchaya, runs a meatball shop and mentioned that her niece had thrown meatballs to a group of dogs. In the chaos, one meatball landed inside the wheel rim, leading the dog to wedge her head inside.

Despite the family's efforts to free the dog, they had to call upon the Phanom Sarakham rescue unit for assistance. The rescue team carefully dismantled part of the wheel rim, eventually freeing the dog without injury. CH7 News reported that the scene was both tense and amusing for the family.

Aratchaya noted that although she frequently feeds the dogs meatballs, this was the first time an incident like this had occurred. The incident garnered attention for its mix of humor and the dog's determination, reported The Thaiger.
