A Facebook page added to the allegations, claiming the abbot was involved with four women and provided money for cosmetic surgeries. Among them, one was reportedly a Burmese national. A visit to the temple by journalists found the abbot absent, reportedly on a meditation retreat.

Monk Kaenchan from the temple expressed disbelief regarding the allegations, attributing the women’s claims to possible alcohol influence. A local vendor also vouched for the abbot’s adherence to monastic rules, describing him as strict. People have to be very careful when it comes to putting their trust in a religious figure, they have to know who they're dealing with and whether or not the person is truly sincere about the teachings. Nothing should ever be taken for granted when it comes to religion, the people who preach it, nor the representative of any faith. Some are very sincere, but many aren't.

I agree but not just religious figures

I once had to resolve the complex legal issues that arose when the grieving widow at the funeral of my client met another grieving woman there- who introduced herself to the widow as his widow!

He had 2 families totally separately from each other and no one knew about it!

Well even a corrupt and morally bankrupt Temple Abbott cannot compete with rival widow!!

At least he doesn't like boys as the catholic priests do. All religion is a scam of some sort.
