Whats This Virus Thingy?

Featured Replies

It puts a folder on the HD somewhere called IT UNIVERSITY and cannot get rid of it. I am not on the internet at home so it must have come via USB dervice from internet cafe. Also get a warning about ND32 files. AVG is fairly recent one but it does not pick this thing up. Anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

Turn off AVG (useless product) and scan here and post the result:

The op said he wasn't on the internet at home, therefore not much use recommending an on line scanner.

But i agree esential to have a reputable anti virus and anti spyware software set installed and updated

Good point. I should have mentioned to hit F5 or F8 as Windows loads to enter safe mode first. It should boot fine then.
