You have a reentry permit so no return/onward flight required by both airline or immigration.

When you return just check you are stamped in till expiry date on reentry permit.

So they wont just stamp me in for 90 days , ie next report due, as re entry permit expiry stamped same date as extension of stay end of dec this year?

Your reentry permit has same date as extension expiry.

When you enter Thailand you will be stamped in till that date.

Thank you

I took a single LHR-BKK some years ago, (so that I could thereafter book my returns starting BKK).

With BA it was £700 ! (the return was about £800).

No reason you can't get a single ticket, but the cost might be relatively high! Good luck . . .

Not necessarily. In your example it did.

Some low cost airlines such as AirAsia, Jetstar etc are point to point tickets. Often little savings if any.

The OP can investigate cost for his planned trip.

DrJack - please note, I said the single ticket 'might' cost more.

The OP was specific in his post.

Answer : no a return ticket is not required with a reentry permit.

No, you stated this

Indeed, single tickets are often close to that of a return.

Worse at the moment, I just booked a single back to UK for a friend and that was 53K.

Off topic however repeat...

If you choose point to point carrier the return is almost same as two single flights.

Just now did test on skyscanner BKK -MELB
