March 20Mar 20 After years of staying in the same place I'm changing address, still in the same province but I'm told it's wise to update address on green book (requires certificate of residence) and on the compulsory insurance and the extra Roojai insurance...I'm not much bothered because when selling in this province they don't want a certificate of residence from the seller, only the buyer. But they say the insurance might not cover you and blame wrong address - also must be same as on green book ...!? (And, that's the address they send fines too..., no thanks ...😜).But generally do you guys do this, just going a bit further up the road or even change address to nearby town...?I figured how to do all of them except compulsory insurance, the girls selling it in that kiosk next to DLT had no clue, they are just reselling agents, they thought I should call the main office - imagine that, broken few words of Thai and zero English conversation on the phone...!

Only changed address on bank accounts and of course immigration..., left green book and insurance...Got to do car and bike licences too, the 500b a pop certificate of residence and all the paperwork and time it needs in Phuket makes me say ..., will do it later...!I'm guessing all the fines on vehicles won't go away, even if sent to the old address, probably had to pay them at some point, not sure maybe at tax update every year or when transfering etc. (if it's anything like in the west, of course we can also be stopped by police for unpaid fines...!?).
