'Will iam not' tries to be funny but 'Funny heis not'.

And I guess your avatar is YOUR attempt at being funny.

Humour is a very personal thing, some folk loved Tommy Cooper, others could not stand him. (I loved him....bubum!)

This is from an Ashton-under-Lyne Blueboy.

Pretty shoddy security if they change bank accounts just over the phone

I'll be honest, I thought from all of your posts I've read, that you were not a Brit.

If you're a blue AND from Ashton, then you should find my avatar hilarious 😂

No I am an Englishman. Did you notice any spelling or grammar mistakes in my posts, or the stick I get being called a Grammar Nazi if I correct someone.

Why would Ashtonians find your avatar hilarious, he helped Woolwich Arsenal to survive in the early 20th.

Yes it was your English grammar, thought you were European 🤣

Great, must be the 40 years I spent touring Scandinavia and Europe for 40 years in a band. is why my English is so good. And learning to communicate properly without rushing and, oh yes, O & A Level English Language and Literature at Ashton Grammar School, as well as German and French helped.

Anyone know if bank details can be changed by email? I have 2 addresses for them on file - [email protected] OR dwponline.helpdesk (at) dwp.gov.uk

Nope, you have to call the IPC by phone for this, I'm afraid. Or alternatively send them a snail mail letter with details of the change and keep your fingers firmly crossed that implementation will finally be achieved by the year 2570 (AD, not BE, that is).🙁

I was in touch with DWP alot in 2025 to sort out two issues.

They are not always quick to respond, but I used this email successfully:

[email protected]

Send an email, if no response after a week then send another.

I also called DWP several times. A lot of the staff who answer aren't up to much, take your details and pass it on, but I was lucky a few times with helpful staff. Call at 8am uk to get through quickest.

Secret is don't give up.
