Why not bake it into the Visa application and then charge the 300 on location only for visa on arrival.

Probably it must be paid with the TDAC arrival card...But maybe they don't know that it is the easiest way....Most of the times a commission must find out

My extensions are every 2 years, and my employer is currently in the process of moving me over to an LTR visa.

I've been here full-time since 2006, and I don't feel like a tourist, act like one, nor am I treated like one.

Than you are unique as immigration is still looking at me after 20 years as a tourist. And I don't live in a touristic area

I disagree with the people on here who think 300 baht is not a big deal.

It used to be a night out for me and my girlfriend before she left me.

Indeed for 1 is not a big deal, but families with 2 kids it is suddenly 1200 THB... The greed is enormous here, higher taxes airport taxes already and now a entry fee.. Is Thailand a museum ???? I believe that as there is no progress

This move is part of the government's broader strategy to boost tourism revenues.

Boost revenues by picking your pockets.

Departure would be better it was 500 before

you're still paying the departure fee, but they changed things for it to be included in the ticket.

I was waiting for a jackass to complain. Uk put a gbp15! Entry fee end of Feb. I guess cheap charlies like yourself complained about that too. Fyi gas is up too. How dare they!

I look up to know all <deleted> like yourself

So even longers Q´s at the airport, because none will have 300 baht ready. Great
At least raise to 1000 baht so you dont have to deal with exchange

What I'm not happy about is Exit Fees
