You can turn it around the other way and say if you go to Jomtiem you can get a good condo with a good gym and pool, much more food options than most other cities, all the other things many other cities have with a nice beach and sea to look at. OK the sea is dirty and Jomtiem may not have the charm of some small cities but the small cities aren't for staying in a long time. Pollution is ok for big chunks of the year. Some areas nice and quiet. Pattaya down the road and Bangkok not far. Not bad.

Agree. And, Jomtien is just one choice. Wongamat is another good area--we actually liked living there better than Jomtien. Nice selection of condos, short, easy drive to T21, Central Festival, Bangkok Hospital, Lotus's, Index, Home Pro, etc. The Cosy Beach, Na Jomtien, Bang Saray, and Pratamnuk areas offer still more choices. If that's not enough, you have the whole Darkside, with a huge choice of single-family housing in areas like Lake Mabprachan, Horseshoe Point, Siam Country Club, Huai Yai, and others.

Who wants to three ladies a day ? I would say you got a big problem being above 50 and still think you are 19. I would say you got serious issues

  • Now I am not a recipient of an Australian Pension, nor am I a resident of Pattaya. However I would suggest to this annoying prying impertinent fellow that he minds his own business, and goes away! It

Nothing about Thailand is normal. It is a playground. Women and food. I prefer to ride a bike.

Utter nonsense. The vast majority of expats--not tourists--living in Thailand full-time are living normal, everyday lives like anybody living anywhere else in the world. You apparently are not meeting any of us where we spend most of our time during a normal week--and that is not on the beach and not in the bars.

I could see more of Thailand in 5 days then you ever will.

YouTube doesn't count.

Jomtiem is a gay area and no charm at all. The south coast is much nicer.

A very small part of Jomtien. I would say from the Dongtan area moving north. But you would know that if you had ever been there.

You live vicariously through other people's posts and AI.

You would not know. You have never been there. You live with your mum.

Projecting again?

Hilarious! Means absolutely squat. You would be seeing nothing in any sort of depth and learning little of any consequence--while likely filling your head with more utterly ridiculous false assumptions--like your ignorant statement that everyone in Pattaya is 'slime'. And, hmm, that suspicious 'could' . . .

That would be on YouTube I assume!

I'm talking about owning your condo though whether that be a 21cm room in the flybird or a lavish condo overlooking the beach, yes it maybe harder for those paying rent

I saw this scary chick Flybird corridor today.

Crikey, weird bird.

Is she one of yours Georgie?

Spooky
