Future? What Future? How Much Time Do You Think You’ve Got?

76 this month, with the most positive outlook I've ever had in my life. Lucky in love, simple life, content.

I'm not very inclined to travel and have not since 2019. I went to Canada and the US every year for 30 years. This is home. I'm only a tourist there, tolerated by family for only a short time (remember those?).

Should I put myself through 50 hours door to door, two weeks recovering from jetlag, spend a <deleted>-ton of money. Do I miss them, sure. But I do just fine with the warm memories of fond times.

Mostly, I miss the conviviality of a family table. It may not come again, but I've had it.

Pretty much perfect health. If that changes, wish I had a means of euthanasia. (I had a lot of youth in Asia!)

No worries here at 79. My mindset is 18 and I will keep grinding down with problems till I expire. Still have a lot of traveling planned while heading back to the USA next week. My disposable dollars

As far as I know, when I die, all of you will cease to exist. So wish me a long life😄

Age 70 here, estimate 5 years tops, but probably only 1-2 years left. And I'm OK with that. @TedG , no worries about money, my pensions last as long as I do.

It would be helpful if you posted data tables and graphs.

That brings me back to the 70's and that'a good cover photo of her.

I'm a Scientist. Party balloons......

I'm 85. Enjoying life, and in pretty good health. I mostly take things day by day, and I try not spend much time speculating on how much longer I have to live. An important point to mention is that I have been very happily married to my lovely Thai wife for 35 years. Were she to pre-decease me I suspect my enthusiasm for life would greatly diminish.
