Trump Mocks Starmer In Blistering White House Tirade

President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on Keir Starmer, openly mocking him with a sneering impersonation during a closed-door White House event.

In remarks later briefly posted online, Trump ridiculed Starmer as weak and indecisive, adopting a timid voice to mimic the British leader supposedly saying: “I have to ask my team.”

The US president claimed he had pressed the UK to deploy forces to the Gulf — only to be met with hesitation and delay.

According to Trump, Starmer responded by saying any decision would need internal discussions, prompting the president to scoff that the war could be over before Britain acted.

The exchange, as recounted by Trump, painted the UK as slow-moving and ineffective at a moment of escalating crisis.

Macron Also Targeted In Broadside

Trump didn’t stop at London.

He also took aim at Emmanuel Macron, mocking the French leader and referencing a widely disputed viral clip involving his wife.

Switching to a caricatured French accent, Trump claimed Macron had refused immediate military support, saying France would only act “after the war is won” — a response Trump dismissed outright.

NATO Allies Branded “Bad” And “Useless”

The tirade quickly escalated into a wider attack on NATO, with Trump branding allies unreliable and ineffective.

“We have some very bad allies,” he said, repeating his claim that NATO would not stand up in a major global conflict.

He added that the US had spent “trillions” supporting the alliance — only for partners to fall short when called upon.

War Rhetoric Intensifies

Trump insisted the US did not need allied support in the Iran war, claiming American forces had already “blasted” Tehran’s capabilities.

He suggested his requests to allies were more of a test than a necessity — and concluded NATO had failed it.

With the Strait of Hormuz effectively choked and global energy markets on edge, the comments risk deepening fractures between Washington and its traditional partners.

Diplomatic Fallout Looms

The remarks — mocking, personal, and unusually blunt — are likely to inflame tensions with key allies at a critical moment.

For Starmer, the episode risks reinforcing perceptions of weakness on the world stage.

Not "everyone was like WTF", only imbeciles and children. Most grown ups thought it was an excellent thing to do as part of National HIV Testing Week to destigmatise being tested. Undiagnosed HIV is a big thing and he has campaigned to have transmission of HIV eradicated (in the UK) by 2030 - he showed how easy it is to do and how there is nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about, hence doing it publicly on camera. Indeed many people praised him for it.

As for not sending Britons to fight he is eagerly involved in Ukraine and now completely allowing use of air bases for the Iran war as well as sending a 'ships' and rousing up the coalition of willing (fools) that will try to open the straight of Hormuz....so I'm sure that British lives will be lost..as they already have in Ukraine.

He repeatedly says UK is not involved in Iran but the actions speak louder than words.

If he had stuck to his word of not allowing the US use of UK air bases then that would have been good but we see he capitulated very quickly and will continue to do so IMHO.

1: the point of the public exercise (as part of National HIV Testing Week) was to remove the stigma around testing. It was to encourage people to do it regularly as part of a public health drive. A very admirable public act by the most senior leader in the country.

2. The whole point of it is it is easy, there should be no stigma attached to the testing or the result, and the results are yours to deal with anyway. It was not a live HIV test to announce whether he had it or not, jeez, it was a public health drive.

There is no legal finding that the Iran intervention is illegal. Your repeated writing it does not make it so. Starmer isn't keeping British sons and daughters out of a war.

1. The UK does not have the capability of providing much direct support. It lacks aircraft and naval vessels. It cannot even successfully honour its treaty commitments of defending Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

2. Labour is losing support to the Green party. It needs to keep the Pakistani and Bengali muslim voting block.

Starmer's days are numbered and he will most likely be turfed by his own party in 2026.
