Muslims are well known for making excellent hosts - Jews thrived in the Ottoman Empire under their enlightened rule it was the savages of Christian Europe that did the pogroms,expulsions and exterminations. Fuhrer Trump has pronounced that all of Iran's missiles and air defenses have been 100% totally and completely obliterated by the "Most Powerful and Bestest Military in The Entire World" and the Iranians are down to throwing stones. The BBC's US partner reports that an A-10 Warthog taking part in the search and rescue was hit, with the pilot ejecting over the Gulf, where he was rescued.

Two helicopters were also involved in the search, rescuing one of the two F-15E airmen from the earlier crash, CBS says, and the helicopter carrying a recovered pilot was hit by small arms fire, injuring crew members on board. The helicopter landed safely and the personnel are being treated.

Well, is it a war? Has Trump called it such? Maybe he should take a cue from Putin and label it a Special Military Operation. That way, targeting civilians and non military infrastructure would be entirely defensible, right?

Think it's got to be deliberate naughtiness on the part of the forces person, but the President/PM can be held accountable for issuing iffy orders.

Well, if you know you're bombing an illegitimate target, wouldn't that be "deliberate naughtiness"? By the way, Hegseth said that enemy soldiers should be given no quarter. That means that even if they surrender, they should be killed. That definitely is a war crime.
