Foreigners Stop Alleged Harassment on Bangkok Footpath

Featured Replies

Two foreign men received praise from Thai social media after assisting a woman who was reportedly harassed on a footpath in Sathorn, Bangkok. The incident occurred on April 7, when a man allegedly grabbed the woman's arm. The men intervened, ensuring her safety by standing between her and the suspect, drawing commendation from the community.

The encounter was captured and shared by the Facebook page 'Rama III Must Survive', which warned locals in the area. The footage, although not showing the initial contact, depicted the woman in a pink shirt visibly distressed as she attempted to distance herself from the suspect dressed in black. The foreigners' timely intervention allowed her to safely move past the man.

The event took place near a bus stop outside Bangkok Christian College. The video quickly spread online, with users applauding the foreigners for their swift actions. Commenters speculated that the woman may have used a hand signal to request help, as the men seemed to react upon noticing her discomfort.

Following the incident, there have been calls for local authorities to identify the suspect and assess the need for medical or legal proceedings. As of now, there has been no update from officials regarding the suspect or further safety protocols.

If it sounds like drivel....🙃🙃

I don't see anyone grabbing her arm in the video ???? the foreigners assisted by turning round and looking at the woman ? and she giving them a furtive looksee too 😋

Hmmmm. What exactly did they do? In the video, looks like they just anticipated that the man in black would do something. Nobody grab any arm!

However, the comment above is hilarious, as we are actually clever enough to see when something is wrong without any hand signals or other signals. Called having education and ability to observe your surroundings.

Just as the article clearly stated!...

If you bother to read it properly the story actually perfectly matches the video.

They did exactly as the article stated. The alleged grabbing happened before the recording started.

the guy in black is the perpetrator?

why are they turning their backs to him or not even keeping an eye on him?

So, you are saying that the alleged grabbing happened before, and that the guy just went back to staying in the corner of shame before the foreigner even had walked up to the woman?

Ok, sounds reliable! But, you know best! Go Liverpool! 🤣

Yeah, exactly! I don´t what he is on today! Must be good quality, though!

I think their presence and close proximity would be enough to deter the man from acting again. Allegedly.

Id speculate he probably worked at that gate he was standing at. If the allegations are in fact true people like that do not think in a sane manner as your comment has alluded to.

Sane people don't allegedly randomly grab women on the street.

I did that once........

.......harass a woman, I mean.

Let me introduce you to the comma "," and the full stop ".".

Then again even those two little friends would not make your rant less incoherent.

and that is why you only have one tooth your sicko

And had the two foreigners not been present, would the gawping "utuber" or whatever these clowns with

cameras call them selves these days, have managed to put his mobile phone down for a couple of minutes to escort the damsel in distress, ? Probably not , I can well imagine some of these "content creators " just continuing to film , Its no different than what is commonly seen at traffic accidents, people just stood there filming it on their mobiles, and often getting in the way of the emergency services, all in the endless quest for "clicks or "likes" or "views" from their "followers"

The scene that was videoed would lend its self to virtually any narrative its only limited by ones imagination or gullibility something's amiss, and the face book page referred to doesn't exist either, go figure
