Iran has warned of “severe” consequences for American military vessels attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, dramatically escalating tensions following the collapse of peace talks with Washington.

Iran has warned of “severe” consequences for American military vessels attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, dramatically escalating tensions following the collapse of peace talks with Washington.

And yet 2 ships just passed through.

Trump is definitely playing with fire and he just doesn't seem to understand much. His lack of military training and his refusal to listen to his military advisors seems to be coming back and biting him on that incredibly huge butt. Using a cub scout leader as SEC DEF is not helping either.

He just doesn't get it Trump only has one gear and that is pure, unbridled aggression. There is no nuance in his game and very little intelligence is being applied right now.

The kind of pain Iran could inflict on the US is beyond description. They have been holding back and by doing so it has won them a great deal of sympathy around the world. But they have the potential to unleash their proxy sleeper cells, and their hackers, they have the potential to truly rain terror down upon the American mainland, American corporations, and the banking system.

And Trump's level of recklessness has the potential to truly wreck world markets, and plunge America into a true, long term crisis. Trump does not have the vision and he has not surrounded himself with any talent, so he is completely blind to all of this.

So now many on the left are hoping Iran sinks a lot of American ships.
