Delusions of grandeur. Why the Hell would the Argentine President meet with a low level local MP? Especially a low level local MP who is known to just be a massive fog horn and dog whistler.

No wonder he can afford all these trips though:

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/38930748/farage-argentina-president-falklands-british-sovereignty/

Still, any excuse to stay away from Clacton I suppose.

Quite obviously the visit is coincidental. And yes, who is paying for the junket? Frey Bentos? There are no international summit type events in Argentina during September-October, so looks to be a private visit. I'm not entirely sure what (pre this kerfuffle) Parliamentary business lies in Argentina.

What would you guys do if we gave it back to Argentina? Protest loudly? Your one of the Israel is on stolen land crowd LOL

Time for us to fight Euro colonialism

The weirdness is the presumption that the US is position to give back anything that ain't theirs.

All this is about is Trump massaging his delusional ego while he strokes his paid Argentinian beggar desciple.

At best the US would actually move to displace the UK so as to park yet another US military target on the Falklands.

All this because Trumps thrown his toy's out of the pram again just like when he wrote that letter to Norway's PM blaming her for him being overlooked for the Nobel Peace Prize. A total loser with most Country's turning there backs on this Child.

Reform has been top of the poll's for the last few Month's, and next week we will show how popular Nigel Farage is. Someone on here will be eating humble pie.

He's popular because he just barks about boats and "sovrinty" which plays up to his supporters. What's this trip to Argentina all about? What was his trip to Diego Garcia about? Ridiculous and pointless grandstanding, because that is what his supports want. Pointless.

Have you seen how the Reform run councils are doing? Shambles. Councilors not turning up, going back on campaign promises to lower taxes (in fact increasing them to the maximum allowed), people quitting because it is too hard, decisions not being made. Complete and utter ineptitude.

Reform can shout about immigrants and boats, but ask them to run a country? Just be careful what you wish for.

U.K. was drilling for oil near the islands so Argys want some

Trump paid him off ! 20 billion with a promise of 40 to come .

Argentina has a history of systemic corruption and absorbtion of wealth into a black hole !

Also a favorite destination for war crims !

You just sound like a labour man who stole pensioners money Joe. I'm more interested in England belonging to England and seeing a Doctor when i need one and housing for locals before any illegals are given them ahead of us. Reform will give us what we want.

The delay in getting doctors' appointments has absolutely nothing to do with illegal immigrants. It has everything to do with 14 years of chronic underfunding of the NHS.

How are Reform going to help that when Farage wants to sell the NHS off and move to an insurance based system like the US? How is that going to benefit the average working man or woman?

It's just barking about immigrants, there is no substance, no real policies, and they have demonstrated that when they are put in to power (at council level) they are a shambles. Imagine that at a national level.

Nothing to do but raise taxes on the greedy rich!

The poor immigrants are only doing jobs lazy Brits refuse to do. All they want is to work for a better life, they are saving the county, not ruining it!

Farage in particular is faced with a challenge, adhere to Trump again, or speak out against Trump’s interference over the Falklands.

Just another example of Farage choosing to lie down with a dog and getting up with flees.

Trump did not say anything. The Pentagon report is a repeat of existing US policy. The US position has not changed since last stated in 2012. This is a fabricated problem.

We recognize de facto United Kingdom administration of the islands but take no position regarding sovereignty.

Victoria Nuland, Spokesperson Daily Press Briefing Washington, DC January 19, 2012

Administration of President Barack Obama

The US position on the Falklands has not changed since 1982 when President Reagan provided limited support to the UK. As a reminder, NATO did not assist the UK either. Passive intelligence support came from a small number of countries which included Norway, France, USA and Chile. The Australia, New Zealand and Canadian navies replaced UK vessels that were withdrawn from their patrol stations for service in the Falklands. The UK was essentially on its own. The UK pulled off a miracle with its liberation of the Falklands.

Thats the difference between a well trained military led by Comanders leading from the front like the Troops in the Falklands were outnumbered 4-1. Argentine troops well dug in and prepaired. Most of our Assault helicopters and heavy Armour lost due to the Atlantic Conveyer being hit by an Exocet. So what did our Troops do ? they " Yomped " i'e walk with full kit from one side of the Falklands fighting all the way to Stanley. In a few weeks we kicked them back to Argentina. Now if it was the Yanks in the same Scenario they wouldn't have got half way in 2-3 Month's.

A good friend of mine was with 3 Para, when they assaulted Mount Longdon they were ordered to fix bayonets, they were clearing Argentine trenches up close with the enemy, hand to hand fighting.

Apart from from nothing more onerous than expressing an opinion about support in the context of a Falklands, how has Trump "interfered in the Falklands"? Here's a clue - he hasn't.

Not to worry, when Trump asked Zelensky to look into Ukraine corruption, the left impeached him.

So, when the left takes the house, they'll impeach him for asking Milei to look into the UK's "ownership" of the Falklands, which of course the US helped secure.
