Iran Runs Dry Permanently: It's Happening

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, one of the few high-quality hires in Trump's tenure, just said that Iran's oil storage island is about to become full, meaning they will have to shut down production permanently.

Iran's banks have been closed, their crypto deleted, their fiat currency is becoming worthless, their refineries are destroyed. Soon they will have no more new revenue. Finally, with the UAE leaving OPEC and the US allowing Russia to sell oil, the economic damage is minimized to the world.

When the maniacs in charge of Iran are finally deposed, their wonderful civilization will once again flourish.

Here is the text of his X post:

"The Treasury Department, through Economic Fury, has targeted Iran’s international shadow banking infrastructure, access to crypto, shadow fleet, weapons procurement networks, funding for terrorist proxies in the region, and independent Chinese “teapot” refineries that support Iran’s oil trade. These actions have disrupted tens of billions of dollars in revenue that would be used to fund terrorism.   Under

@POTUS ' maximum pressure campaign, Tehran’s inflation has doubled and its currency has rapidly depreciated.   Kharg Island, Iran’s primary oil export terminal, is soon nearing storage capacity, which will force the regime to reduce oil production, resulting in an additional approximately $170 million per day in lost revenue, and causing permanent damage to Iran’s oil infrastructure. Treasury will continue to exert maximum pressure and any person, vessel, or entity facilitating illicit flows to Tehran risks exposure to U.S. sanctions.

He feels like a typical Trump pick, very much bottom of the barrel stuff. His attempts to negotiate with Iran have been pathetic and I really haven't seen him do anything that was impressive yet.

And he seems to be a doing a terrible job with the economy, though the ridiculous policies of his boss are not doing him any favors.

High-quality hire?
I thought to MAGA an openly gay man married with a husband would be a DEI hire.
Isn’t that internally inconsistent in MAGAWorld?
If Buttigieg won the presidency in 2028, would you consider him a 'quality hire' for the role, or would that be judged by a different standard?

Nope. Different situation. Gay men can be quite vicious and in ways not just physical. As warfighters this is good and has been taken advantage of by various militaries (homosexuality is not genetic, it's caused by emotions warped from disturbed past events. People in this state can have their passions funneled toward a target, and in this case, the target is the fatherly Iranian mullahs). Look at how the Ukrainian army, filled with aggressive homosexuals, has fought well against the superior Russian forces.

Buttigieg, as a president with those some qualities, or at least the same emotional difficulties, would have been a disaster.

His sexual preferences mean absolutely nothing to me, and that's not on any level the reason why I dislike the man. If anything maybe I give him a few extra points for being gay in a Trump Administration.

Off topic, I know. But what happened to the crypto that was supposed to be safely beyond the reach of governments?

Congratulations you won the prize for the most ignorant post of the day. The amount of cluelessness within that one paragraph of yours is beyond comprehension.

UPDATE: Trump says this about the Iranian government:

"They are choking like a stuffed pig."

tumpwithstuffed.png

And Centcom announced on Twitter that 42 ships have been turned back as part of the blockade, withholding $6 billion of oil that the Iranian regime would have used for sponsoring terrorism and blackmail throughout the world.

Do you take some sort of psychedelic substance to manufacture such "facts"? The Ukrainian forces are filled with gay men? You've done a personal thorough study of brain physiology and brain chemistry to arrive at your Falwellian answer? How do you then explain the little milquetoast dweeb Speaker, who is an official of a group called "Pray Out the Gay", yet has been unable to achieve "redemption" from his own proclivities?

Continuing off topic....even BEFORE AI + quantum computers vacuum up all the crypto in existence, the North Korean govt, using only existing hacking techniques, runs itself off stolen crypto. In the past, the DPRK used to fund itself selling drugs out of its embassies, but as they are among the world's Top 5 in terms of hacking ability, they've found a new way to cover the cost of those Hwasong 20s that can hit the US and carry nukes they learned how to miniaturize during Trump's 1st term (Kim Jong-un hosed Trump nine ways from Sunday with a couple of "love letters", while ordering his nuke experts, missile techs and enrichment scientists to go full speed ahead.) Kim even had his techs switch nuke testing to supercomputers, rather than actual detonations, during Trump 1.0.

Condolences to MAGAs who now must pay an average of $4.35/gallon to fill their Ford F-150 pickup, plus see the cost of Moon Pies and RC Cola and chewing tobacco skyrocket as "affordability" is not a Chinese hoax, but rather a direct result of their messiah's tariffs, war of choice, and general incompetence.

Now Trump is begging Iran to agree to the same deal Obama got in 2015 without all the shooting and wasted money. That degree of woeful personal insecurity and incompetence is how Trump managed to bankrupt casinos. Trump has brought that same "skill" to bankrupting the US and running the military stockpiles into the ground. It only gets worse from here, as increasing dementia enhances Trump's incompetence.

That Kamala is looking a heck of a lot better, isn't she? I bet Trump would trade Melania in for a little bit of Kamala. At least Kamala looks like a woman, while Melania looks like the kind of "gender" that might try to lift your wallet on a late night Sukhumvit stroll.

The economic damage to the world was caused by Trump, not the Iranians. Some win.

And if things are as bad as they say you are, who do you think they will invite in to help them rebuild? I doubt it will be the US.

Only 2 oil refineries. They closed the others. They export unrefined oil to Singapore then buy it back.

Trump pleaded with the Iranians not to make him do this

It is the fault of the Iranian government.

The government has failed us.

Poor Aussie battler can't afford a $50 dollar packet of cigarettes, beer and cigarette taxes are killing Aussies.

Sadly, the government chooses to export, give away our tax free gas.

As Bessent is patting himself on the back, the exact same thing in happening in the other Gulf States which can no longer export their oil. Storage facilities fill up, oil pumping shuts down. The EXACT same mechanics with the EXACT same results. Congratulations Bessent, you and your master, Trump, have successfully destroyed the Gulf oil industry while smugly claiming to only destroy Iran.

hahaha. I stopped reading after that sentence. What a joke. He is so radical

The price of Brent crude oil surged to around $123 a barrel early Thursday as stalled U.S.-Iran talks raised doubts over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and a permanent end to the Iran war.

Brent crude to be delivered in June jumped 4.1% to $122.88 after briefly soaring past $125 per barre

Will 150$ become the new bench mark as the Blockade continues.

If so what then will be the new gallon prices I wonder?

1. The "25-Cent Rule"

Economists often use a standard rule of thumb to correlate oil and gasoline prices: for every $10 increase in the price of a barrel of crude oil, the retail price of gasoline typically rises by about 25 cents per gallon.
