Trump Prepares Long Blockade To Crush Iran’s Economy

Marine Blockade.jpg

President Donald Trump has ordered aides to prepare for a prolonged naval blockade of Iran, doubling down on an economic pressure campaign designed to force Tehran back to the negotiating table.

According to officials briefed on internal discussions, the strategy centres on choking off Iran’s oil exports — the backbone of its economy — while avoiding a return to full-scale military conflict.

Oil Lifeline Targeted As Pressure Mounts

The blockade has effectively sealed off the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical energy routes. Before the war, millions of barrels of oil passed through the narrow corridor each day. Now, traffic has slowed to a near standstill.

With exports halted, Iran is rapidly running out of storage capacity. Tankers are being repurposed as floating storage units, but analysts warn that space could be exhausted within weeks.

Energy intelligence firm estimates suggest Iran may have as little as two to three weeks before it is forced to curb production — with a complete shutdown looming not long after.

Risk Of Permanent Damage To Oil Fields

Halting production is not a simple switch-off. Experts warn that shutting down oil fields can cause lasting structural damage, including pressure loss and contamination within reservoirs.

Restarting production could cost billions and may never fully restore previous output levels — a potentially devastating long-term blow to Iran’s economic future.

This looming threat has turned the blockade into a high-stakes countdown, with both sides measuring how much economic pain they can endure.

Tehran’s Economy Spirals Under Strain

The economic impact inside Iran is already severe. Inflation has surged to roughly 67%, while unemployment has spiked sharply since the conflict began.

Officials estimate that at least one million jobs have been lost, with key industries grinding to a halt under the combined weight of sanctions, war disruption, and collapsing trade flows.

Basic goods are becoming increasingly unaffordable, and internal pressure on the government is mounting as living standards deteriorate.

Talks Stall Over Nuclear Dispute

The latest escalation follows Iran’s proposal for a phased negotiation process — one that would delay discussions over its nuclear programme until after the war and shipping disputes are resolved.

That proposal was quickly rejected in Washington. The Trump administration insists that any agreement must address nuclear issues from the outset, viewing Iran’s position as an attempt to buy time.

Trump has repeatedly stated that Iran will never be allowed to retain enriched uranium, framing the blockade as essential leverage to secure that outcome.

A War Of Endurance

With a fragile ceasefire holding but no resolution in sight, the confrontation has shifted into a test of endurance.

The United States is betting that sustained economic strangulation will force Tehran to concede. Iran, meanwhile, is attempting to hold out — relying on stockpiles, workarounds, and political resolve.

For now, neither side appears ready to blink. But with storage tanks filling and economic pressure intensifying, the margin for delay is rapidly shrinking.

The corner that the goon has backed himself into is such that a long blockade of the Strait means a long period of destruction for the world economy, with the US economy included, as they are by no means immune to the supply chain issues.

Trump is either too thick to understand that or he simply doesn't care about the average American.

Trumpflation and the massive economic sabotage that the circus clown is engaging in right now, is going to have a dire effect on the US and the world economy. All this from the Goon that promised that he would bring down inflation.

I hope it's becoming increasingly more apparent to his supporters that that was all just another in a long chain of pathological lies from this pathetic garbage man.

As the report clearly explains, a prolonged blockade of all shipping through there has disasterous consequences - not just energy, but fertilizer (how long can the world and farmers go without getting that fertilizer - and how long can we go without the food that needs the fertilizer?)

An associate wants to use conduit to put in new electricity lines in Australia but can't because it is in very limited availability as a side effect of this. Now it's going to cost a lot more to complete the work. One small story of the millions affected in much worse ways by this.

A major Thai newspaper ran an article noting a tsunami of hotel reservation cancellations due to Trump and Netanyahu's war.

Other articles note bars and restaurants feeling the pain of the Trump war and higher fuel costs. Trump is not making any friends in Thailand.

Hard to believe an $85 trillion World GDP could be hammered by the idiocy and incompetence of one man. High fuel prices, disruption of supply chains. Consumers pulling back both because of fear and tight finances. Combine this with the impact of AI on labor, plus the world's $380,000,000,000,000 in debt, and the world is facing a perfect storm of utter catastrophe. Trump's is the spark that lights the fire.

Let's coin the inevitable moniker here and now:

The Trump Depression

Trump is either too thick to understand that or he simply doesn't care about the average American.

He is acting in deseration.

Also, he refuses to acknowledge, publicly, that he was led astray by The BB.

If he could admit this, then he could change US policy for the better.

Then, this disaster would become, at least, a learning and corrective opportunity.

China will not accept the blockade, and no one will dare bomb its ships. It's worth remembering that a large portion of its crude oil comes from Iran.

Trump's strategy is therefore doomed to fail and will further alienate his former allies.

Huge amounts of weaponry are being prepared right now in the waters off Iran. Planes filled with bombs are gassed up and ready to fly, missiles (including hypersonic ones) are aimed at targets selected from HD satellite feeds. Ground troops aren't necessary at this point.

The IRGC is slowly losing the things they care about, like their crypto and villas in the south of France.

Finally, the death of the school girls was the fault of the Iranian mullahs because they refused to surrender and were acting inappropriately on the world stage. It was not Trump's fault.

Two months and running?! Peanuts ... Granted Trump is trying.

Putins Russo-Ukraine Invasion is a "forever war" going 4 years and 1.5 to 2 million total military casualties (killed wounded or missing). Russia suffering significantly higher losses with estimates of 325,00 dead & 1.2 million casualties. And No end in site. That is a Foreever War.

No matter how disastrous, one must never let a learning opportunity go to waste, if one is willing to learn by one's errors.

Some never learn, though, and you know I am thinking of The BB, among a few others.

This absolute goon is a travesty for the entire planet, and is causing untold amounts of pain worldwide with his ridiculous war of choice.

The "I will get inflation down" president is driving prices up worldwide, through his foolishness, and horrific advice, and has absolute fealty to Netanyahu.

He needs to be stopped as soon as possible, he needs to be locked up in either a prison or an insane asylum.
