As the report clearly explains, a prolonged blockade of all shipping through there has disasterous consequences - not just energy, but fertilizer (how long can the world and farmers go without getting that fertilizer - and how long can we go without the food that needs the fertilizer?)

An associate wants to use conduit to put in new electricity lines in Australia but can't because it is in very limited availability as a side effect of this. Now it's going to cost a lot more to complete the work. One small story of the millions affected in much worse ways by this.

China will not accept the blockade, and no one will dare bomb its ships. It's worth remembering that a large portion of its crude oil comes from Iran.

Trump's strategy is therefore doomed to fail and will further alienate his former allies.

Huge amounts of weaponry are being prepared right now in the waters off Iran. Planes filled with bombs are gassed up and ready to fly, missiles (including hypersonic ones) are aimed at targets selected from HD satellite feeds. Ground troops aren't necessary at this point.

The IRGC is slowly losing the things they care about, like their crypto and villas in the south of France.

Finally, the death of the school girls was the fault of the Iranian mullahs because they refused to surrender and were acting inappropriately on the world stage. It was not Trump's fault.
