Accomodation Krabi Town Or Ao Nang

Featured Replies

Dear supportrer need some good ideas for my stay in this region for a double room in a guesthouse, bed & breakfast home, hotel, privat home or any conveniently situated accomodation. The price range should start from 4,000.-- till 12,000.-- BHT per month if possible with A/C, TV and Internet.

Thank you very much for your participation.

I wouldn't recommend a long stay in Krabi Town, as it's a dump imo. I recently stayed for several days in Ao Nang, which is much nicer, especially if the weather is good. Easy to get to places like Railay from there too.

I can recommend a guesthouse call PK, I think. Or maybe PL? Something like that. It's just off the main road, about 200 yards from the beach - there's a sign for it, as well as numerous other guesthouses on the same street - big sign for an Irish bar as well. I paid 450 baht a night, but I'm sure you can negotiate a good monthly rate. Try for a room with a sea view - it's worth it. There are other places around, so have a good look if you want to pay less. I doubt you'll get anything with A/C, cable or internet for much less than 10k/month, unless you're very lucky.

I'm not sure Ao Nang (or Krabi Town) are big enough for a long term stay, but up to you.
