Strange Donny bragged were alright jack we have plenty of oil with enough Refinery's Tell that to the passengers left stranded and the staff employed by Spirit Airways.

When a barrel of oil is refined, it yields 20 gallons of gasoline, 12 gallons of diesel, and only 4 gallons of jet fuel. Prices of the three commodities reflect supply and demand.

Oil is fungible, it's the same price in the USA as in Europe or Asia. The stable genius does not understand that, despite allegedly topping his class at the Wharton Business School.

I'm holding hope for Gavin Newsome 2028. Most of his baggage he inherited from the previous California administration. I recently saw him on the Bill Maher show, he has serious credentials/accomplishments.

Gavin is an exceptional leader. He’s achieved a balanced budget, tackled homelessness, and accelerated the High-Speed Rail project. Moreover, his efforts to cut taxes and regulations have drawn numerous businesses to our state. The county greatly benefits from having Gavin at the helm.

Trump likely made a deal with the Deep State (Satan), and in exchange for them pulling the strings and making every decision they promised to enrich him to a spectacular degree with a lot of corrupt money, that not one morally bent Republican Senator or Congressman has complained about.

Do you know who leads the deep state? I would like to write a letter to them.

You're absolutely right! CA's economy is booming thanks to Governor Newsom's competent leadership.thumbsup

Donald Trump's farcical/tragic second term progresses, and the USA's allies are increasingly estranged with the economy of the World crashing in Trump's wake.

Relations with the USA's nearest and most important neighbour Canada, have descended to open scorn and hostility, with Trump's idiotic rudeness and persistent ridiculous demands completely to blame.

Denmark, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the UK and all of Europe head the list of those estranged with most of South America. God only knows what major World powers like India and China are thinking. Whatever will be left of the Middle East when the madness of this war abates?

How anyone can still support Trump and how he got elected in the first place defies imagination, particularly when you see that the USA has so many brilliant, principled and clever people.

Already cemented in History as the WORST President the USA has ever had, Trump's only remaining Friends seem to be the despicable Putin and the murderous Israeli PM, Netanyahu.

I wonder if any of the MAGA supporters here are repentant of their own part in this chaos ?

Trump supporters aren't interested in any of these (your) "let's have a whine about Trump" threads. Go at it, have a great time comparing notes with your fellow whiners. These have been running non-stop since 2015, and you never quit. It's probably good therapy as you compare notes with all your like-minded friends.

"Maye Europe doesnt have anything Trump needs."

I could point out that Europe is America's biggest trading partner, so why don't you tell that to all the American companies that make money there.

"Trump is cozying up to Putin and may make massive deals with Russia."

Russia's economy is roughly the size of Italy's economy. Several US companies invested heavily in Russia a decade or two ago. They lost everything, and when a few of them were recently asked to return they all refused.

Your posts are deeply ignorant of even basic facts. Why don't you make more of an effort to enlighten yourself before posting?

'Who Knew ‘Slick’ Gavin Newsom Was Such an Economic Maestro?'

https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2026-04-06/california-s-economic-boom-proves-gavin-newsom-s-critics-wrong

https://archive.ph/IeNnV

"California became the top performing economy among its 49 siblings and any developed nation under Governor Gavin Newsom's two-term leadership.

Gross domestic product surged 40% to more than $4 trillion, accounting for more than 14% of US output, after Newsom took office in January 2019.

California's diversity and its strong technology and healthcare sectors are cited as key factors in the state's superior economic performance, with the technology sector's contribution to California's GDP increasing 59% since 2019."

Well one could arguably point to the Dems objection to a merger but companies, like people, die. There will be another company to take its place.

But hey, Im curious, tell us how Spirit was "put under the bus" by who?

Glad you admit that Cali is hemorrhaging businesses and people.

Suuure! It's better to alienate US first export market in order to gain favors from a country with a GDP similar to Italy's GDP! 😂

I think the actions of folks are far better than shills rewriting Press Releases.

Doesnt sound like a place I would want to live in. Nice weather and scenery though, used to be OK for a visit before they ran out of money in LA to pick up litter and maintain the roads. Bangkok is better run and cleaner.

"Most people who move across state lines cite employment, housing, or family as the primary reason. Since 2015, California has experienced net losses of almost 900,000 people who cite housing as the primary reason, a sharp increase from 2004–14, according to the Current Population Survey. The PPIC Statewide Survey finds that 34% of Californians have seriously considered leaving the state because of high housing costs  and 21% have thought of leaving because of the lack of well-paying jobs. Political outlook might also play a role for some movers, as conservatives are more likely to contemplate leaving the state than liberals and Republicans are much more likely to leave than Democrats. About half of those who leave the state buy a house in their new state, whereas only one-third of those moving to California buy a house."

But hey grab the last word with some social media cut and paste out of your vast library of Trumptrumptrump materials. Mix things up a bit, give us some Russia stuff.

Did the USA really have allies? Aside from shared interests and mutual economic gains, the concept of "allies" is a false construct. It's not just the USA. Look at how the Europeans have treated their "allies":

-France has allowed and facilitated the travel of unauthorized migrants to the UK damaging the UK.

-The UK knowingly sold defective submarines to Canada and allegedly concealed defects. The result was the destruction of Canada's submarine capability.

-Romania allowed and facilitated tens of thousands of its nationals to exploit social benefit systems of other countries and to engage in transborder crime.

-Spain, Italy and Portugal did not respect the spirit of European mutual defense spending priorities.

-Bulgaria hosted and indirectly protected economic crime rings that targeted nordic and UK countries.

-Germany allowed the sale of nuclear and biochemical products to Iran that it knew would be used for hostile means.

-Belgium obstructed and tried to sabotage the EU free trade agreement with Canada in an effort to get more subsidies

-Multiple countries, especially Slovakia and Hungary interfered with and delayed EU efforts to support Ukraine

And so one. The takeaway is that they all do what is in their own immediate best interest and invoke the "ally" concept when it is to their own benefit. The President of the USA is there to act on behalf of the USA and do what is best for the USA. He is not there to prop up other countries or to run their economies or to protect them. The USA can't afford to carry others along for the ride. It has its own problems and struggles and needs to deal with those issues first, otherwise it will not be able to help anyone in the future. Let the USA sort itself out. It needs a period of introspection and a refocus of priorities.

Your sarcasm will be lost on the non Californians. To correct the potential for a misunderstanding;

-Newsome is not responsible for a balanced budget. The California Constitution requires the Governor to have a balanced budget. And on the contrary, the proposed 2026-2027 budget has a deficit of almost $3 billion. California has been raiding its Budget Stabilization Account built up in previous years to balance deficits.

- The unhoused and vagrant problems have worsened, despite an estimated $20 billion having been spent over the past 5 years.

-No tax cuts. California has one of the highest rates of taxation in the USA.

-No indication of business relocation to the state. Multiple large employers have left; Charles Schwab. Mckesson. HP, Chevron, Oracle, Tesla

-The High Speed Rail project, which he inherited, is a money pit and considered a financial fiasco. way over budget, mostly incomplete and one problem after another.

Not suitable to be POTUS.

Do you know anything about Spirit? It's operational model was not sustainable. The revenues did not cover the basic operation expenses. It was in and out of bankruptcy. The proposed merger partners would not have been able to service their debt. You should have a read of the frequent flyer websites to learn more about Spirit.

Russia and the US have a lot in common. Multiethnic countries with a common language and common culture. The problem with Russia is that they never got out of the forcible colonialist integration stage versus immigration.

But Russia is no different than Europe in its colonialist ambitions. They have more to offer though in terms of resources.

Yeah...I'm no military strategical genius, but if your supposed allies don't have enough military personnel and hardware to takeover and defend a small Lancashire village against a bunch of angry and unarmed farmers, can they really be called allies? Nato is doomed when Trump decimates their budget, not that anybody will notice its demise - its list of successful achievements could be written in 14 font sans serif on the back of a small postage stamp.

Nato hasn't got a pot to urinate in, and definitely hasn't got a window to throw it from.

That is the Deep State that has controled every president since at least a century ago. It's always about power and money and they're completely nonpartisan as their God is the golden calf.

Trump makes very few decisions on his own, he's incapable, he is simply not smart enough, and somebody's making these decisions for him.

I would posit that Trump has shwon to be a wholly different kind of stupid. He was thought of as malleable and easily controlled, but he has proven to be a dangerous idiot, destroying what was left of America's collapsing economic base.

I thing, his handlers overplayed their hand, and instead of making money, this will be the end of the USA within the next 5 years, ending in a true sci-fi tech dystopia and total collapse for the largest majority of Americans.
