I had no idea who Spencer Pratt was until highlights from the LA mayoral debate started circulating on social media. He destroyed Karen Bass (D) and the DSA candidate, and I enjoyed watching him confront them. It's about time someone held these politicians accountable. The big question is whether the "Vote Blue No Matter Who" crowd will actually vote for change.

My guess is it will be very close as will be the gubernatorial election in CA and the federal mid-terms. The Dems and their propaganda arm the MSM are now in panic mode.

The balance is a result of playing with the books, not actual structural change. Newsome is taking $7 billion of reserves, intended for catastrophe recovery (e.g. floods, wildfires, earthquake) and playing with the time allocation for $3.6 billion from the Contingency fund. The smoke and mirrors game has already been discussed. What was needed was a reduction in the high personal income and county taxes accompanied by a reduction in spending.
