Broken Macbook Air

Featured Replies

Hi All (again)

I searched everywhere to get my Macbook 'back up and reset ' but it turned out that there is in NOWHERE that can do it ....certainly not in Pattaya .

So I lived with no computer while I searched for something to do with the old computer....

I then thought about running the computer through the flash drive , I studied up and it was feasible.....then I had to find someone who could download Linux onto a flash Drive....

I asked around Central and all the computer shops that I knew ....

I then made my way to Tuckom and worked my way up all the floors until I got to floor 4 . The owner of King Com said he could load Linux onto The flash.....;-)

The next day I took the computer to Tuckom to try the new flash Drive....IT WORKED !....and.....imagine my suprise when it asked me if I wanted to replace the operating system with the Linux Mint .....well I was F****** exstatic....I now have a fully functioning Linux computer.......

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions and offered sympathy ....

Cheers all. Happy computing

Congratulations but if you had trouble putting an OS on a flash drive I think you'll have much more 'fun' actually trying to use Linux

Anyway best of luck 🤞
