We have "lagacy" in the making. Donald J. Trump. In 100 years, the wold will wonder how a pompous real estate wheeler dealer has managed to unhinge the world order. Leaving Chaos in his wake. Affecting the next 2 generations.

How is that for "legacy"?

Right, the next hundred years of history are going to be focused on how... just how, did he manage to get away with all this staggeringly enormous bullsh*t? Unless of course this the new normal, an inflection point for humanity, in which case the next 100 years will just be more of the same.

Well, all men here, born by a women, will get old eventually. The desire to chase women wanes. The desire to accumulate wealth wanes. The desire to "be somebody" in society wanes. Close family members and friends have died.

BUT STILL WE HAVE THE URGE TO TALK TO SOMEBODY. Formerly it was the local pub, today it's the internet, as the local pub has become too expensive.

Lagacy? Correct me if I am wrong, but how many of the 2 billion Facebook contributors will be rememberd 5 years from now?

I have been on this forum for a very long time. Who remembers the wise contributors of this forum from the early days? All dead.

The only way to establish some "lagacy" for commoners is to produce some offspring. To establish this form of "legacy" I would not recommend if you are over 95 years old.

Of the many that I used to enjoy the only names I can remember are Naam and Fred O'Brien.

Don't want a legacy and already regret the time wasted on about 30k replies 🙄

30k X 2 mins = 60k min / 1000 hrs ÷ 4 yrs / 1461 days = 0.684 hrs a day wasted.

Such a wasted life.

You really should never have left Gladwyne, in my opiinon.

Gladwyne was so much better than anything Thailand now has to offer.

Do you agree?

Do you disagree?

You know that I am right.

Too late now, though.....

If I could have afforded a life in Gladwyne, I'd agree, But had no desire to work that hard or that long, just to live in any location. Being a Delaware County boy, had no desire to live there, any longer than I had to, or any other place, state, that I worked and lived in: PA, NJ, MI, WV, FL, TN

So definitely disagree ...

After first 25+ adult years in USA, have no regrets about spending the last 25+ adult years in TH. Really can't think of a better mix of living style. 50/50 USA / TH

To do that anywhere else, would have required working harder & longer than I'd like, and would have definitely affected my smile factor.

Anywhere is just a location. Home is Where the Heart Is

At present, that's Thailand
