A Muslim Holocaust

The French colonial occupation of Muslim-majority nations, most notably in North Africa and West Africa, is documented by historians and human rights organisations as a period of systemic violence, cultural erasure, and mass death.

While individual war death tolls are often lower, some historians and official bodies calculate total fatalities over the entire 132-year colonial period (1830–1962) to reach much higher figures. Algeria: French historian Jacques Gorki and the Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights estimate that up to 10 million Algerians were killed through massacres, man-made famines, and disease.

The "One Million" War: The Algerian War of Independence (1954–1962) alone resulted in an estimated 1.5 million deaths, earning Algeria its title as the "Land of a Million Martyrs".

Other Occupied Nations: France also ruled Tunisia (75 years), Morocco (44 years), Mauritania (60 years), and Chad, using similar military force to maintain control.

French colonial policy often viewed local intellectual and religious leaders as the primary threat to "pacification" and assimilation efforts.

The Chad Massacre (1917): One of the most cited atrocities is the "Massacre of the Wooden Bowls" (Coupe-coupe) in Chad. French forces reportedly gathered 400 Muslim scholars and intellectuals for a meeting, then brutally killed them with machetes to decapitate the local leadership.

In Algeria, the French administration worked to dismantle the traditional Madrasa and Zawiya education systems. Teachers were frequently imprisoned, and schools were closed to force the adoption of French culture and secularism.

By the time of independence in 1962, the literacy rate among Algerians had plummeted to 10%, as the education system was prioritised for European settlers (Pieds-noirs) while indigenous knowledge was suppressed.

Laghouat (1852): French soldiers killed roughly two-thirds of the population in a single night after entering this Algerian city.Setif and Guelma (1945).

Nuclear testing (1960-1966) and landmines killed so much more

It's time for French to pay reparations.

Over the last century, many such cases took place all over the world where atrocities were brought upon millions, where they were starved, imprisoned, tortured, expelled and killed like flies, and somehow, the world forgot and worse, didn't learn anything from such cruel, shocking, or violent acts, but now, the whole world is on their hind legs going on about the Palestinians being the flavor of the month, but soon, as time moves on, them too, will be forgotten, just wait and see.

Hardly just the last century. A even cursory look at history and historical artefacts will tell you that history is being rewritten in order to remove inconvenient truths.
