Good points. America is #1. In mass murders. By a long shot. And now they've added to that list the mistreatment of foreign visitors and as a result tourism is dropping like a brick. Putting the US on the World Cup list was just not smart. $150 for a bus out to the stadium, $1,000 for a mediocre hotel room, $5,000 for a crappy ticket, I don't think so.

Just say no to piracy, ridiculous inflation, and an ungrateful nation towards tourists willing to spend crazy amounts of money to visit.

Which is why I've not interest in professional sports. I do enjoy amateur sport events.

Well the same could be said of concert tickets. I was convinced during covid that ticket prices for sporting events and concerts would drop long term due to the possibility that people just didn't want to be around big crowds anymore. How incredibly wrong I was.

Disappointingly the World Series was named after “The New York World” newspaper who sponsored the series. For once not an example of American insularity.

Urban legend.

We can't watch the games here live anyway, so why bother. Another non event.

Maybe you cannot but I can, via an app on Firestick/Android.

There is no way the USA will stop the Iranian football team from entering the USA to play football in the World cup

BIG subtitles rock! Every video content should have them, including, of course, content in English.

That would be against FIFA rules

Unfortunately, FIFA rules or pretty much any rules don't apply to Dear Leader!

The Iranian team just received their visas. They are allowed to fly in, play, and immediately fly back to Mexico. Better than nothing. I hope they win.
