I had two pairs of BOSS linen trousers that looked similar to these, bought around 2003. The best loose-fit trousers I ever had. Perfect for island evenings and keeping the mosquitoes away. Just a shame they never remade them.

I had a few tailors try to copy them, but nobody managed to get the softness of the linen right, or the elastic waist with button and zipper. These are as close as I have found to the originals, just without the button and zipper.

The BOSS trousers lasted almost a decade, so even if they were expensive, good quality lasts.

Anyone know a genuinely good tailor? I even tried the famous Bangkok tailor that made clothes for Steven Seagal, but the result was the same disappointment.
