No the crime was not ‘a tweet’ Jonny:

“It is not an offence to have strong or differing political views, but it is an offence to incite racial hatred – and that is what Connolly has admitted doing.

The prosecution case included evidence which showed that racist tweets were sent out from Mrs Connolly’s X account both in the weeks and months before the Southport attacks – as well as in the days after.

“Connolly wrongly thought that she could escape justice by hiding behind a screen, but today she has pleaded guilty and admitted her crime. She will now face the consequences of her actions.”

Well I guess that’s the only response you could come up with given the weight of recorded, and linked, facts against your gaslighting garbage.

I’ve long expressed my view that foreigners who commit serious crimes should be deported directly from prison.

To clarify this further, I support the deportation being part of the sentencing and the convicted foreigner’s right to appeal ending on completion of their sentence, thus ensuring appeal must be made during their time in prison.

I also support foreign prisoners being shipped home to serve their time in their home country prisons.

So no, I haven’t gone anything.

You've certainly changed your tune on 2 tier policing since you realised it was actually written into the guidelines. 😃

I’ve not changed my tune ‘2 tier policing’, the existence or others of which is recorded in the Police and Court records of how ethnic groups are actually treated.

Arrests, use of tazers, charging decisions, bail decisions, sentencing, parole decisions.

Iv'e said it once I'll say it again why should we pay for this Scum in Prison. They should be immediatly removed from the country i dont care where they go. We all know when there released they will carry on its too lucrative to turn down, they don't care if a few drown on route. Even if there kicked out we have seen them sneak back in to carry on.

Could be how I read the OP, but it seems more

like they are jailed because of providing unsafe passage,

thus not because of people smuggling or bringing in illegals.

You read it right but this new act seems to just just duplicate existing laws, regulations and guidelines already broadly set in EU and UK HSE policies, which incorporate the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS convention) standards. I haven't seen one boat crossing the Channel with these migrants that would meet all of these standards. That said, it's no good just arresting the drivers - the French authorities are guilty of allowing these boats on to the sea in unsafe conditions in the first place - they know exactly where they are.
